I recently stayed in this luxurious property. The stay was absolutely amazing and the staffs are friendly in nature and so helpful too. The swimming pool was good and well maintained. My personal favourite was the location as it is so peaceful and private. The Auroville beach is near by. Le park resort was so satisfying and worth every penny I paid. Must visit if you want to escape from your matrix.

Rooms are good and the location is very near to the beach, just a walkable distance. And the main part is the owner and staff. Very helpful folks and guides in any help we need. Even went to the extent of taking us on his own vehicle to the town centre to get rental bike. Very much recommended place for families to stay.

    Hotel Annamalai International is a luxury 4-star hotel located in the heart of Pondicherry. The hotel offers the best facilities and caters to both leisure and business travellers. It is just a few kilometres from the clean beaches of Pondicherry. It is well-connected to the bustling urban life of the union territory. I had the opportunity to stay in this hotel with my aged mother and my spouse for two nights (20th & 24th Jan2025) recently. All three of us are senior citizens and in particular mother was about 90 years old needing wheelchair services. Right from our arrival (on both occasions) the hotel provided us with excellent services including complete assistance with their wheelchair services whenever required. The hospitality shown by their reception, house keeping and room service staff were excellent on both the occasions. The room allotted to us (on both occasions) was spacious and clean with a good view. The toilets was very clean and comfortable. The room was provided with sufficient quantity of tea/coffee ingredients in the coffee maker table, toiletries, linen etc The room service was on time and the food served was very good. Excellent ambience was present in the lobby, the staircase and the corridors. An attractive transparent lift was also present in the hotel. Though the hotel is a roadside establishment, the double layer sealed soundproof glass panels ensures noise free environment inside the room. Overall, our stay in this was very comfortable, safe and memorable. I will definitely recommend this hotel for a safe and memorable family stay. Good show.

    Excellent stay at this hotel! The room was beautifully designed, functional, super clean and comfortable. Since im a light sleeper I was worried about the noise, I can tell you i didn’t hear anything and had a great night sleep. The laundry service is immaculate The breakfast was delicious, best dosa I ever had. Also would like to add how complete it is. It included: fruit, eggs, dosa and coffee. Before leaving, I had a couple of drinks at the bar. The mocktails are refreshing and the iced coffee and snacks I had at the bar were really good. Would love to thank you Hanes for all your help sorting out so many things which made my stay memorable.

    The pool area was fantastic, location great, right near the centre of Pondy and all the facilities. Staff were very courteous, polite and helpful. They allowed me to check in early, kept my bags safe for me upon check out, and gave me a number for a taxi service to Chennai. Also, one of the best (if slightly pricier, but worth it) laundry services I had in 3 months of travel. Love this place. Definitely coming back if I ever pass through Pondicherry!

    I felt at ease and safe to wander around in Pondicherry. The Sunday market was great and its a good place to walk at night. Need to improve the hygiene condition and the cleanliness of the city as well as lightings in the overall city, but definitely a place to visit

    A beautiful temple for some specific reason. The location needs to be maintained. The temple tank area is so dirty. Not sure if we can blame the management, ideally the visitors also need to be responsible enough not to dirty the place. The temple tank needs cleanups and the area around it needs to be garbage free.

    Made wrong decision to choose perl mahe. Poor customer care. Denied breakfast included with fair. Receptionist says we never served breakfast ever. Requested to clean the room in the morning and done after 10 at night when I came back to get some sleep. Rude receptionist. Staff are never trained into the hospitality industry. Without begging Customer won’t get any service. In the middle of the night ringing on the service line to disrupt the sleep. Never recommend to others. Worthless.

    Beautiful and relaxing.

    Beautiful and relaxing. Friendly staff and very beautiful lavish greenish gardens with children play area. Great relax playing basketball, volleyball and shuttle. Felt secured silent peaceful stay with great hospitality from the manager Siva. Sure, I'll visit again and recommend to my friends and families.

    Everything significant can be covered in 2 days. Pondy Marina, Rock Beach etc are great. If you want serenity Auroville Beach is the best. Best if you can rent scooter etc for transportation as it is difficult to get uber and auto drivers charge unreasonable amount.

    Not much to do here unless you plan to stay and drink at the millions of wine shops and bars. The Tagore Walkway was nice, the little park at the base of the lighthouse was okay. Its a slightly depressing town of mostly drunk folks stumbling about, with cheap booze and cheap fuel due to the union territory tag I guess.

    Mahe has a wonderful sea estuary walk way. That is all there is. It has narrow roads and is an overgrown place with 19th century infra structure. There are too many liqour shops, bars, drunkards and street dogs in Mahe.
