Booked the rooms for my parents and uncle and aunt to have a weekend break and they loved it. The booking process was seemless and the front office was more than happy to meet all of my requirements of having a room together and they even gave them rooms close to the elevators so that they didn't need to walk a lot. I travel a lot and its so nice to have a family now in Goa. I hope you have the opportunity to meet some of the great staff at The Astor, and I’d like to mention a few of them here. From Joseph who seems to be everywhere in service, to head chef and creator of all things delicious Divyanshi along with her chef Dave, as well as Suhas the restaurant manager, bartenders Nitesh and Survita, servers Zeenith, Sachin, as well as Pooja up front, all the way to the management, Anuj ,Shailendra, Mr Ganguly and the General Manager Mr Gupta, they are all wonderful people! You cannot go wrong with The Astor!

It was a delightful surprise to be personally greeted by the General Manager at check-in, a touch that instantly made us feel valued and welcome. This commitment to exceeding expectations was mirrored by every member of staff we encountered. A special mention must go to Sukhdev, the Food and Beverage Manager, whose attentiveness and dedication to ensuring our dining experiences were flawless truly elevated our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for him or indeed any of the staff; their polite and helpful demeanor was consistent throughout our visit. Our room was a haven of comfort and tranquility. Spotlessly clean, spacious, and beautifully appointed, it provided the perfect retreat after days spent exploring or relaxing by the pool. Speaking of which, the hotel's location is idyllic. Situated directly on the beach, with the soothing sounds of the waves just steps away, it offered a sense of serenity while still being conveniently close to local amenities. The culinary offerings at the Calungate Park Hotel were simply outstanding. The Christmas Day brunch was a magnificent feast, a true celebration of flavors and festive cheer. But honestly, every meal was a delight, from the beautifully presented breakfasts to the delicious à la carte options. The quality and freshness of the food were evident in every bite. The Park Hotel provided us with an unforgettable experience. It was the perfect blend of luxurious comfort, exceptional service, and a stunning location. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and can't wait to return for another wonderful stay.

    The room's comfort was up to par. I found the bed and view very comfortable and pleasing, and with a strong Wi-Fi in the room, my stay went without any hiccups. I would also say that the facilities, like the restaurant, fitness centre, and room service, were great, with great assistance from the staff. Since the nice breakfast was included in the price we paid, we all found this stay to be the best value. As the Sinquerium Beach was close by, we had a lot of fun.

    Panaji was a nice stopover for 3 nights before hitting the beaches. Very relaxed city and easy to get around whether by taxi or by foot. Interesting buildings showing Portuguese influence, and interesting places to visit including the fish market, park along the river and local markets.

    Hotel was far from the sightseeing places, not easy to access. This hotel is not recommended for stay for those who want to roam around or go for sightseeing. It is recommended only for those tourist who just want to be in the room itself.

    Morjim beach is one of the cleanest and relaxed beaches in Goa. Also, it has good shacks where you can enjoy food and chill. If you like quiet beach walks without lot of noise and chaos, it's best to stay here. Morjim is surrounded by greenery.

    Small town/village on a wonderful bay.

    Small town/village on a wonderful bay. Plenty of facilities, and a real laid back feel. Easy to slip into the restful scene, or to get out and about and explore the local area. Great beach, with plenty to do without being crowded or noisy, and plenty of nice restaurants lining the streets and the beach itself. Very cool place to spend a week or so,

    Location - 4.5/5 Food - 3.5/5 Cleanliness - 5/5 Swimming pool - 4/5 Breakfast - 3.5/5 (not suitable for foreigners), and less options for Indians, it was not proper continental breakfast Sea side - 5/5 no property in between direct access to sea shore from resort Beach - 3/5 as you can't swim there but can walk in calm environment and explore near by local restaurant for better sea food option. Staff politeness - 5/5 Overall - 4/5

    Presently Goa is going under a lot of good maintenance work. They are operating bridges and also so the traffic become very hectic. Also I noticed that the tourist drive very rash and they don’t see the crowd should be managed like you know the traffic police and traffic department should take care of this thing that it can be a safe for people around their driving And also the pedestrian who walk they walk blindly like they don’t even care about the cars coming in and the bikes driven by tourist. They don’t even care how they drive. They drive very fast and rest. That’s one thing traffic should be controlled in Goa and the traffic etiquette.
