- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 2,745 reviewsHonestly everything was really good. The staff were lovely when I checked in, I made a last minute change to the booking as we checked in and the staff were very friendly and accommodated me without any issues. The room was one of the nicest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in, the room was really big, with plenty of space for our many suitcases, the whole room was freshly renovated and the bed was huge and super comfortable. Although we were on the ground floor with a walking path running past our window, the room was really quite, we also had double fire doors between our bed and the corridor outside the hotel room door, we never heard a thing from anyone walking by either inside or outside the building. We slept so well, we nearly missed breakfast. The breakfast had a great choice of food and as it was buffet you could help yourself as you wished. It was really super tasty. My partner used the gym facilities and he thought they were very good. We did not have time to visit the pool area of the hotel though, so cannot comment on that facility.Guest review bySusieocSweden
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 2,064 reviewsThe Lake Hotel has its charm and nostalgia being situated in Killarney National Park overlooking Muckross Lake. The Lake Hotel was able to move our check-in date forward one day for a two nights stay without charge. We requested to be seated for breakfast by the window to admire the beautiful lake views. We had clothes laundry service with same day turnaround time. Live music entertainment was played in the bar lounge on both nights. On our day of arrival, our room was not ready as we checked in much earlier than scheduled time. We sat by the bar for drinks and were greeted by Niall Huggard, General Manager and Co-Proprietor of the Lake Hotel. How's that for hotel service?Guest review byKathleenCanada

Poor signposting in Kerry, Killarney is difficult enough to get around by car but with so many hotels and B n B available, it is always busy. Not enough car parking spaces. Cathedral a place of tranquility and time to be quiet, away from the busy streets. Great shopping and entertainment available. Loved the Park, boat ride and Muckross House.Guest review byeirgirl - 10.0

Dingle is an absolute gem – vibrant, friendly, and effortlessly chilled. From the moment you arrive, there’s a relaxed energy that makes it easy to unwind. Locals are warm and welcoming, and there’s a real sense of community throughout the town. We took a boat trip while visiting, and it was one of the highlights of our stay. The crew was knowledgeable, sharing lots of interesting information about the area, and to top it off, there was live music on board, which added such a special touch to the experience. Dingle is the kind of place that makes you want to slow down, enjoy the moment, and just take it all in. Can’t wait to go back!Guest review byKathleenIreland - 10.0

A nice town with some lovely shops, restaurants and bars. A good base for visiting the ring of Beara, The Limetree and No.35 restaurants are lovely places to dine and there is ample bar food in the pubs too. Make sure to try out Tom Crean lager and ale!Guest review byCatherineIreland - 10.0
Lots to do and see!
Lots to do and see! If thing I would suggest if it's raining or cloudy at all don't go to sea!! We went to the Skelligs. €295 for 5 of us, couldn't see much! Disappointing to say the least! The Skellig Museum on Valentia island across the bridge was surprisingly very good. It looks funny outside & we didn't rate it much! The back of it is what you see first! The take away on the pier was disappointing. Fish & chips wasn't what you'd think it would be beside the sea. The food in both local pubs fabulous. Best to book the Moorings for evening meals. It's very busy. Kerry cliffs well worth seeing also.Guest review bylindaIreland - 10.0

Sneem is a lovely little town. Just the right size for a wander. Everyone we met was very friendly and the Book Shop was amazing. We also bought some cards in a Craft shop that had a spinning wheel outside. Such friendly ladies in both shopsGuest review byJoyIreland - 6.0

A lovely town in a great location for visiting the Ring of Kerry. Plenty of nice walks, climbs, beaches and fantastic scenery. Kells beach and Kells Bay and Gardens are close by as is the lovely pilgrim walk up Cnoc na dTobar. A good base to visit Valentia Island. Plenty of historical interest including the old Workhouse and Daniel O Connell's birthplace. Some nice restaurants, including the lovely Oratory Pizza restaurant and QCs.Guest review byCatherineIreland - 10.0
Being right on the ocean is nice.
Being right on the ocean is nice. Town itself is small and was pretty busy and touristy. But it was cute. Just driving through we could see a quite a few different food options. Love the beach area. Cliffs are awesome, ocean views great. Nice little town.Guest review bySusanUnited States - 10.0
