- From £242.17 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,425 reviewsThis place was a palace! Enormous rooms (Big for North America, gargantuan for Ireland). Clean, *free cookies*, balcony. Leather wing-back chairs in the bar. The staff treated us like royalty. After we got lost on the way there, the concierge offered to come find us in the dark after give me his personal mobile number! Above and beyond... I could get used to this. I'm guessing this place normally sells for a lot more than we paid, but we booked at about 10 pm the night of owing to running out of our previous hotel which appeared to be unsanitary. Still, maybe if you need the same kind of last-minute accommodations in Cork, you can get the same deal.Guest review byChreeCanada

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 102 reviewsWe very much enjoyed the location and the pool which was very welcome in view of the weather. Enjoyable meals in the bar although vegetarian options could be extended (this applies to most places). My husband left a cap in the room and the hotel was kind enough to send it on to us. We particularly enjoyed the breakfasts sitting by the window with the wonderful view.Guest review byAnneGermany

Lots to do around the city and outside.
Lots to do around the city and outside. A lot of gigs and an active night life. A car is a must if you want to see the natural beauty around the city. The city gaol is a must. Very eye opening in a depressing sort of way but really makes you appreciate being born in this century!Guest review byElisaNew Zealand - 10.0

Kinsale is one of my favourite places in Ireland, we love the chilled vibe of the town, the quirky streets and shops, fantastic coffee shops, bakeries, craft shops and of course its famous restaurants. I would recommend the walking Tour (Jason's) that leaves from the Visitor Centre, and the fantastic Harbour Boat Tour, and if your mobile a visit to Cork City and the beautiful and historic town of Cobh.Guest review byDonalUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Went there specifically re-live my grandparent’s emigrating experience from there—and the Queenstown experience next-door at the Cobh Heritage Center was so much more than I ever had hoped for! I left feeling I had a better idea of what my Dad and grandmother had gone through.Guest review byPatUnited States - 8.0
The whole stay was excellent.
The whole stay was excellent. Eden Crest is outside of the town of Bantry, where the eating places are. Fine if you are a good walker, it’s not too far so it wouldn’t be expensive to get a taxi if you didn’t want to drive in.Guest review byMaryUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Beautiful, quaint little town and the Castle is fabulous.
Beautiful, quaint little town and the Castle is fabulous. I never knew there were gardens and a house, have only ever heard about the castle, so it was a wonderful surprise to find out there is so much more to do. The Woolen Mills shop is every shoppers dream and has every Irish product you could ever want. We stayed in the Blarney Woolen Mills Hotel which was exceptional, but excellent value.Guest review bylesleyIreland - 10.0

First Class - excellent staff throughout the Hotel - highly professional and friendly with it. Main dining room has to be experienced - attendance is an event in itself. Lovely food served in a timely way. Waiting staff are great to watch at work and they do what they do in a quiet but showy way. Lovely to sit in the hall and enjoy the two log fires and the comfy arm-chairs. A relaxing stay at a lovely hotel in a great location. Old fashioned but we like it that way - no squeaky floorboards - calm and quiet.Guest review byAlasdairUnited Kingdom - 8.0
We were only passing through and stayed for one night.
We were only passing through and stayed for one night. It's an easy place to find your way around in. Has a number of good pubs for a drink or two and good restaurants. We had an excellent dinner at Salinas Bistro which does a mix of Middle-Eastern and Irish dishes.Guest review byJanetCanada - 6.0
The proximity to Ballyhass water park was very convenient.
The proximity to Ballyhass water park was very convenient. Unfortunately, the restaurants close very early (between 9 and 10 pm). So it is very difficult to get a decent late meal. We would recommend the Khao Asian restaurant, it was fantastic. We would NOT recommend rhe Hibernian Hotel. The food is absolutely awful.Guest review byColmIreland - 8.0

The Heir Island House and restaurant is the heart of the island .The summer time population is about 130 . Lots of social and sporting events are held on this site . People from all over take the 5 minute ferryboat ride to the island for their delicious homemade pizza . Hiking ,views ,birds and flowers . Everything to love .Guest review byPatriciaUnited States
