- From £121.52 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 159 reviewsWhat's not to like? I was genuinely so surprised by Riverside and for all the best reasons! We were greeted with the warmest welcome and given a tour of this truly magnificent property. It oozes character and the owners have very tastefully decorated every inch of this beautiful home. You can tell a lot of time, thought and effort is put into the upkeep. The grounds are stunning and kept so clean - I don't think you could ever get sick of the views. The house itself is absolutely spotless which is testament to the hard work the owners clearly put in. Our room was one of the "older" rooms which we loved as it was like stepping back in time yet we had all the amenities needed - a lovely warm shower, huge comfortable bed (an extra bed in the room too!), a kettle and tea/coffee, a hairdryer and a TV. You have access to a shared fridge and there are irons and ironing boards on hand if needed. The room was immaculately clean and the perfect place to relax and get a fantastic night's sleep. Breakfast was genuinely the best I have ever had in any hotel/b&b - the homemade bread is divine! The most special part of Riverdale however, is Patricia. She is warm, welcoming and just an all round lovely person. We thoroughly enjoyed her company and she went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful weekend, so much so we booked to return before we left. I genuinely cannot recommend this place any higher. If you want to completely relax and unwind in the most amazing surroundings only a very short walk/drive to a beautiful village, you won't get better than Riverside Farm B&B. Don't think, just book.Guest review byHazelIreland

I found Leitrim to be what I yurned for.
I found Leitrim to be what I yurned for. Tranquil old Irish villages with extremely friendly people. Far from the hustle and bustle of city life. I left technology behind and was greeted by the cead mile failte. People here are only too happy to help and no one minds a little chat. Interesting people and the craic are central to a visit to Leitrim villages. If you only can do 5 star accommodation and can't put your technology away this may not be for you. Walk the canals, visit the castles but make sure to talk to the people. If you can't find any, they'll be in the pub!!!Guest review byJamesIreland - 10.0

We had a fantastic stay at Belle View House in Mohill, Leitrim. The house was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for a family getaway. Stella, the host, was absolutely excellent—she went above and beyond by leaving a thoughtful food parcel and even toys for the kids, which made us feel so welcome. We would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
A very pretty village on the Shannon.
A very pretty village on the Shannon. There are 3 bars each with restaurants & a cafe in the village. There is a buzz in all of the bars. People are very friendly. You can get a train from Dublin to the village of Dromod for a day trip (met someone who was doing that) or a weekend. One Bar/Restaurant in about 2 mins walk from the train. The Village is about 6-7 mins walk. You can hop on the train (get a return) which will bring you to Carrick on Shannon & return within a few hours so you dont need a car.Guest review byGerIreland - 6.0
The restaurant in W8 in the town was good.
The restaurant in W8 in the town was good. Manorhamilton is a great centre for visiting the surrounding area which has many beautiful places. We visited Fowley's Falls in Rossinver-- Fantastic cascades and great 2 hour walk from the top down to the Organic Centre.Guest review byJosephIreland - 8.0
Nice friendly town.
Nice friendly town. We attended an event in the Island theatre which is a great asset to the town. Great pub grub served in Smiths and we enjoyed a pint in The Poor Scholar. Taxi service not great in the town.Guest review byBernieIreland - 10.0

A town with great character. Lovely, lively town.
A town with great character. Lovely, lively town. Beautiful marina. Great pubs, great food. Very historical town & beautiful little villages with lovely walks only a few miles outside of Carrick. The famous gun powder gin is distilled a few miles from Carrick in Drumshanbo. Flynns pub was great craic & great music. Likewise McHughs pub & Cryans pub were great also. Cryans hotel bar food was excellent. We had the peppered chicken with vegetables & chips & they brought out a potatoe, ham & leek dish on the house. It was fab. Really enjoyed our stay. Well worth a visit!Guest review byJohnIreland - 10.0

The place was just right for my family of six, plenty of room to sleep, hang out and spend alone time when needed. The host thought of everything…Lots of activities to do, in and out of the home. We enjoyed the walk to the lake and down town Leitrim. Our challenge at times was hot water.. it seemed after few showers, we ran out of hot water and therefore the whole family couldn’t shower at the same time. Our lovely host could have helped resolve this issue but we were too busy to slow down and ask. All in all the place is beautiful and would like to stay there again next time we visit Leitrim.Guest review byJoyceIreland - 6.0
We spent just one night in the area at Lough Rynn Castle.
We spent just one night in the area at Lough Rynn Castle. We went into Mohill wanting more food options than what was offered at the castle for our 6 year old and were shocked to discover there isn't a single restaurant you can eat at. There are pubs that doesn't serve food and a few take away places but no where you can sit down and enjoy a meal. The Castle did have two dining options and they did appear to have a wide variety of foods.Guest review byDebbie
