The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The rooms were beautifully furnished, but what truly made our stay exceptional was Eleni. Her attentiveness went beyond typical service; she provided thoughtful beach suggestions, secured reservations at top dining spots, and even managed unexpected requests if we needed something for our kids. Her hospitality made us feel right at home. The hotel itself is fantastic—new, modern, and incredibly comfortable. Located just a short 2-minute walk from the golden beach, it offers convenient access to beach chairs and umbrellas. The sea was clean and inviting. The surrounding area, with its lush greenery and a nearby horse farm, added to the serene atmosphere. For anyone visiting the golden beach area, this hotel is a top choice. The hotel is brand new, everything is picture perfect. Service, breakfast, cleaning, beach.....all excellent. Once or twice a week there is an event with beautiful live music. Location is spot on, a peaceful neighborhood 3 minutes by car or about 10 minutes walking (by the beach) distance to the city centre.

We spent 5 nights at Amalthia, had 3 rooms booked for 7 people, and we all enjoyed it very much. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and really clean (get cleaned every single day!!). You can always turn to the host when in need of something. The location is very good - 6-7 mins by foot from the beach and all the nice taverns and stores, and 10 mins by car to Panagia. Great choice for sure, will visit again 👌

    Beautiful place to have a vacation with kids. Location is just best on the island in my opinion. White send beach, blue sea, better then on photos. Hotel is not newly renovated, but it well maintained and everything looks good, comfortable to use, pleasure to see. The area around is super green, like a park/forest. Bungalows are comfortable enough, but some fresh touch is needed, also something to make it cozy. Breakfast and dinner is good, huge variety of different food (choice of fish, seafood, traditional Greek food, fresh fruits, and much more, even to much in my opinion), I can not say everything is delicious, but always you can find something on your taste. Staff are very smiling, helpful, quick, friendly, a big thanks to all people in restaurants, reception. Mostly all is just great, very relaxing stay.

    I had a fantastic stay at this hotel near Potos in Thassos. The sea view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, and I could enjoy it every morning with my coffee. The location is perfect — peaceful, yet close enough to everything I needed. The room was very clean and comfortable, with all the amenities I could ask for. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Thassos.

    Limenas is the best location to stay in Thassos especially if you have kids. Everything is near walking distance restaurants and supermarkets. Beautiful beaches. Amazing fresh fish. And if you want to have meat its worth visiting Theologou village where they have lovely restaurants for meat.

    A place to be avoided, small and very crowded. You have everything in one small place, some people may like this, I don't. As a side note, food in all restaurants not as good as years ago in Thassos, I was tempted to say "fast-food style", but fast-food is good compared.

    This location is a gem. Beach is awesome, you can travel to other locations, food is out of this world. Value for dollar is magic. The best food for the least cost. How this can be? The souvlaki at ZIAFET GYROS, GRILL, ruined all souvlaki for me. Their staff is out of this world. Unfair. They made us go back night after night, even when we wanted to try other places. Had to do take out from the other locations.

    Potos is a lively town with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants. The beach is large and had sun beds that are usually free with a purchase, and the hospitality staff were friendly and helpful. Potos is a great location and is in near reach to other places, usually around a 10/20 minute drive. It is close to Theologos, Giola and other nice beaches including Notos and Rosogremos (both beautiful beaches). Perfect place to stay with a perfect amount of activity and also quaintness.

    Skala Rachoniou is a nice and quiet, small place. Excellent for vacation and relaxation. Plenty of crystal, cool sea water with exceptional small size beaches located next to each other. Tasty traditional Greek cuisine offered from several tavernas in a close walking distance. Nice bakery located downtown on the main road. Supermarkets available as well. Nice boutique hotels and villas everywhere.

    Prinos is probably the most boring and not so pretty place on Thassos so I wouldn't stay there again even though the appartment we staied in was nice and the hosts were great. Near by there are nicer locations and if you don't mind the view and the village and travel all over the island, Prinos can be a place for just sleeping. It is cheaper to eat out compared to Potos for example. So not too bad, but if you are looking for a pretty Greek village - that is not the one :)

    We chose the place due to the proximity of Golden and Paradise beach since we liked those the most the year before when we were there with the kids (4 and 6 years old). You do need a car but that means that everything you need is not more than 15 minutes away.

    The hosts are really hospitable people!

    The hosts are really hospitable people! Smiling, communicative, with a sense of humour! The room is always clean and not far from the accommodation you can find the best restaurant - Armeno! 2 minutes from the accommodation there are shops where you can find anything if you need something. You can take the best photos ever - sunrise and sunset - on the right of the terrace is the sunrise and sunset, on the left you can see the appearance of the Moon behind the mountain. In front of you in the distance you can watch every day the well-defined outlines of Mount Athos. There are fun travels by boat, beach parties nearby, but in the vicinity you can feel the silence and relax well, really well. Near the place there are three beaches in a walking distance, although the best one is Atspas Beach. But by car you can reach many other beaches within a distance of around 6 to 10 kilometres. You want to go there again and again and to stay longer and longer!!!

    Ideal for quiet and peaceful vacation. Small place yet it has everything one might need. I did not see any pharmacy, though. I would highly recommend small beach and the Bikini beach bar. Good food at Faros snack bar. Relaxing atmosphere and good service
