We had a very pleasant stay. The hotel is charming, with spacious rooms arranged over two floors — perfect for families, as the teenagers could sleep downstairs while the parents stayed upstairs.     The Atrium Hotel is truly spectacular!! Their photos online really do not do it justice. When we arrived, we were shown around the hotel and given a welcome drink while our bags were taken up to our room. The view over their stunning pool of the bay in front is exquisite. They have a very nice, well-stocked bar and their restaurant, where one can sit overlooking the pool and the bay is one of the nicest we’ve experienced so far in Greece! Their buffet breakfast is also of a very high quality. The best part was the hot tub and private outside area that our room had. Room service brought us Prosecco and beers to enjoy in the tub. It was truly idyllic. Thank you to the friendly, wonderful staff who made the next stop on our honeymoon so great!!

    we visited Skiathos with my girlfriend for our first vacation in Greece and it was definitely unique. First of all, Giorgos and Despina were incredible hosts and willing to help us with every question we had. Our room was cleaned daily with a change of towels and sheets (very clean accommodation). The view of the room was unbelievable, especially the sunrise was like a painting. The accommodation is very central, just 5 minutes from the center on foot. It is located on a small hill, but you don't care because the goddess is unique. We will definitely come again guys.

    Close to the city centre and all the main beaches, the hotel is very well located. The room and housekeeping were excellent, but what really set this hotel apart is the personal touch of the staff. Alexandra in particular was very friendly and attentive, taking care of all our needs and wishes. I cannot praise her and all the staff enought for their exceptional service.     The location was fantastic, the best i think! Is located in a cliff with 2 beaches on each side. Restaurants around, amazing. Also the staff is gorgeous - we had an 8m baby and they were so thoughtful that they prepared each day pureed food for baby and did specifc groceries. It is located with a beach in front of the property and out of the hub of Skiathos (which we preferred) but not to be alarmed as their is a water taxi at the beach to take you into Skiathos town.     So much to see and do. Boat trips , bars, restaurants, shops, ferries etc. One bus stop from airport at 3 euros cost! Maybe not for you if you want to be on the beach every day though we did the water taxi to Tsougrias beach one day and the bus to vrommonilos beach another day.

    This is a lovely, fairly quiet area which is exactly what we wanted. There are plenty of bars if you need them and very good bus services if you want to go further afield. The beaches are wonderful and everyone was super helpful and friendly.

    Very relaxed.

    Very relaxed. Good selection of restaurants and pool bars for such a small place (largely one road with a mini market, restaurants and accommodation along it). 2 well known restaurants; Infinity Blue and Crazy Rooster. Lesser known is Argento which is a fantastic pool bar and restaurant. Xanthi pool bar is also great, with super friendly owners. Lovely beach with warm, shallow and clear waters (visited in August). Boat hire, pedalo, SUP and kayak hire available from the beach. A very popular beach bar called 'The Beach House' and Handy bus stop nearby for easy access to other beaches e.g. Aghia Paraskevi and Troulos, restaurants and Skiathos Town.

    Achladies beach is lovely sandy beach with a couple of bars and eateries, the octopus which has fav food and Mojo which is a local bar with food. There are sunbeds and you can get a water taxi to skiathos town and back every half hour. There is also a supermarket nearby and a bakery. The supermarket will deliver your goods of over 25 euros which is a great service. It also has water sports and is lovely for a swim

    Loved Troulos, quiet but plenty of taverns within walking distance, nearby supermarkets, lovely beach within walking distance. Close to bus- stops at all the beaches along coast, nothing not to love!! Can’t wait to return!!

    Koukounaries is really just a single (quite busy) road that...

    Koukounaries is really just a single (quite busy) road that runs behind a lake from one end of the Koukounaries beach to the other. The beach itself is fine golden sand with lots of facilities (loungers, boat and pedallo hire, bars and cafes), there is also public toilets in the centre of the beach ( a rarity in Greece) and is about 1km long. It gets very busy during the day. Access is easy as there is a regular bus from Skiathos town that stops along the road. There is also a Water Bus boat service from Skiathos town harbour ( cost E7 each way PO). There is also a car park at the Western end of the road but it does get filled up early. The main road is home to numerous bars, restaurants, hotels and apartment blocks and two small supermarkets. There is a small scruffy section in the centre of the road where there is a derelict hotel and apartment block that needs tidying up. For those who like there beaches more stripped back there is also 4 or 5 beaches on the northern section of the peninsula within a 20 or 30 minute walk from the road. You can walk along the shore of the lake but you cannot easily walk all around because of thick vegetation at the eastern end.

    First of all this accommodation is far from being 5 stars. Rooms have not been renovated for years, the bathroom is so old and full of mold, needs an urgent upgrade. The hotel does not have a fitness, you have to go to another hotel if you want to use it. We booked a Suite with Sea View but upon arrival they told us it is no longer available and they give us another room for the first 3 days then we can move to the one we booked. Staff was very nice at first, but then they ignore us and not answering the phone or messages. Unfortunately, we had to leave 2 days earlier because of terrible news, my husband’s dad passed away. They didn't do anything to partially refund us. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs.

    This is an excellent hotel, where we have stayed overnight on a number of occasions. It gives terrific value: superb location, great food, comfortable rooms at a very good price. But what makes it truly outstanding is the friendliness and helpfulness of the people who run it. They always make us feel very welcome.

    One of the Perfect Greek Island Getaways Skiathos is an island that combines beautiful beaches, vibrant nightlife, and authentic Greek charm. The town center is lively, with narrow streets full of tavernas, cafés, and small shops, while the port area offers stunning views, especially at sunset. The island is very easy to explore by car or scooter, and parking is generally convenient. Beaches like Koukounaries and Banana Beach are quite busy, although the water is crystal clear and the sand golden. For those who prefer peace and quiet, there are also hidden gems such as Mandraki and Elias Beach, which I highly recommend for a more relaxing experience away from the crowds. Hospitality is warm and welcoming everywhere, and the food is excellent—fresh seafood, traditional Greek dishes, and plenty of options for all tastes. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing holiday or a dynamic stay with nightlife and activities, Skiathos has something to offer. Highly recommended for couples, families, and groups of friends alike!
