An amazing hotel with a nice view! The breakfast was delicious and all the pool was so good. We spent all day there! Last but not least the staff was professional and polite and they made us feel like home! We will be back next year for sure!

Beautiful and clean accommodation. Near the small supermarket, excellent restaurants, bars but in a quiet place and a few minutes to the beach. There is also a bus stop nearby. There was coffee available in the accommodation, which was very nice to cook in the morning and plan trips around the island with her. Very nice staff.

Very nice angle room with two large windows and a reface with a marvellous view over the old city and the sea. Very cosy breakfast room and reception hall, elegantly furnished. The hotel is located in one of the small narrow streets of the old town close to the old port. The breakfast is well served and complete with top quality ingredients. The owner is very kind and helpful.

The apartment was really nice, with a wonderful view of the sea. Since there are pine trees on the property, it smelled wonderfully of pine forest. The beds were very comfortable and the host was available for any questions or needs. The location is also great, as it is away from the hustle and bustle, but still very close to beautiful Troulous Beach.

Lovely, well designed and furnished apartment with nice, large, shaded terrace close to the Skiathos town. Apartment is fully furnished and equipped with everything you need. The location is about 15 minutes walking distance to old Skiathos town and apart from occasional jet engine noise from airplanes taking off from the nearby airport, it is really quiet. (you will be on the beach anyway during the day and planes don't land or takeoff after 10pm)

    The Atrium Hotel is truly spectacular!! Their photos online really do not do it justice. When we arrived, we were shown around the hotel and given a welcome drink while our bags were taken up to our room. The view over their stunning pool of the bay in front is exquisite. They have a very nice, well-stocked bar and their restaurant, where one can sit overlooking the pool and the bay is one of the nicest we’ve experienced so far in Greece! Their buffet breakfast is also of a very high quality. The best part was the hot tub and private outside area that our room had. Room service brought us Prosecco and beers to enjoy in the tub. It was truly idyllic. Thank you to the friendly, wonderful staff who made the next stop on our honeymoon so great!!

The hotel is 1min walk away from the beach, has a sea view, serene ambiance, parking, it’s super clean, and above everything else it has a wonderful team of young, polite, and professional personnel. Only superlatives for the staff, they were great! ❤️ On the last day, after the check-out, you have the option to leave your luggage in a dedicated storage for it, use the pool, and have a shower in a private bathroom before you head for the airport. This was greatly appreciated as our flight was after 8pm and we spent the entire day out swimming and sunbathing.

    We were pleasantly surprised with a completely unexpected and beautiful upgrade to the Nest Infinity room with a hot tub. Staff is very kind, friendly and accommodating! The selection of different areas and beaches in the resort is unmatched - you can watch both - sunrise and sunset from the beaches reached by foot or a complementary buggy. Food and coffee were great. Housekeeping and hot tub cleaning were done exemplary well! Our chihuahua dog travelling with us also had one of the best times of her life!

    We stayed for 2 nights with our 10 years old son. The location is amazing. 5 min walk to the port. You can take the little boats for dsy trips from there. The room was basic and clean. Good value for money. We needed to sleep somewhere clean and shower. The rest of the day we were out exploring. Angela was extremely polite and helpful. We had to leave our suitcase for a day and dhe agreed to keep ot for us straight away. Always willing to help and answer questions. Thank you so much for your hospitality.

The island is very easy to explore by car or scooter, and parking is generally convenient. Beaches like Koukounaries and Banana Beach are quite busy, although the water is crystal clear and the sand golden. For those who prefer peace and quiet, there are also hidden gems such as Mandraki and Elias Beach, which I highly recommend for a more relaxing experience away from the crowds. Hospitality is warm and welcoming everywhere, and the food is excellent—fresh seafood, traditional Greek dishes, and plenty of options for all tastes. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing holiday or a dynamic stay with nightlife and activities, Skiathos has something to offer. Highly recommended for couples, families, and groups of friends alike!

    This is a lovely, fairly quiet area which is exactly what we wanted. There are plenty of bars if you need them and very good bus services if you want to go further afield. The beaches are wonderful and everyone was super helpful and friendly.

    Loved the location – just a 12-minute walk to the port, which made everything so convenient. The accommodation was perfect – clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed.     Very relaxed.

    Very relaxed. Good selection of restaurants and pool bars for such a small place (largely one road with a mini market, restaurants and accommodation along it). 2 well known restaurants; Infinity Blue and Crazy Rooster. Lesser known is Argento which is a fantastic pool bar and restaurant. Xanthi pool bar is also great, with super friendly owners. Lovely beach with warm, shallow and clear waters (visited in August). Boat hire, pedalo, SUP and kayak hire available from the beach. A very popular beach bar called 'The Beach House' and Handy bus stop nearby for easy access to other beaches e.g. Aghia Paraskevi and Troulos, restaurants and Skiathos Town.

    Loved Troulos, quiet but plenty of taverns within walking distance, nearby supermarkets, lovely beach within walking distance. Close to bus- stops at all the beaches along coast, nothing not to love!! Can’t wait to return!!

    Achladies beach is lovely sandy beach with a couple of bars and eateries, the octopus which has fav food and Mojo which is a local bar with food. There are sunbeds and you can get a water taxi to skiathos town and back every half hour. There is also a supermarket nearby and a bakery. The supermarket will deliver your goods of over 25 euros which is a great service. It also has water sports and is lovely for a swim

    Koukounaries is really just a single (quite busy) road that...

    Koukounaries is really just a single (quite busy) road that runs behind a lake from one end of the Koukounaries beach to the other. The beach itself is fine golden sand with lots of facilities (loungers, boat and pedallo hire, bars and cafes), there is also public toilets in the centre of the beach ( a rarity in Greece) and is about 1km long. It gets very busy during the day. Access is easy as there is a regular bus from Skiathos town that stops along the road. There is also a Water Bus boat service from Skiathos town harbour ( cost E7 each way PO). There is also a car park at the Western end of the road but it does get filled up early. The main road is home to numerous bars, restaurants, hotels and apartment blocks and two small supermarkets. There is a small scruffy section in the centre of the road where there is a derelict hotel and apartment block that needs tidying up. For those who like there beaches more stripped back there is also 4 or 5 beaches on the northern section of the peninsula within a 20 or 30 minute walk from the road. You can walk along the shore of the lake but you cannot easily walk all around because of thick vegetation at the eastern end.

    First of all this accommodation is far from being 5 stars. Rooms have not been renovated for years, the bathroom is so old and full of mold, needs an urgent upgrade. The hotel does not have a fitness, you have to go to another hotel if you want to use it. We booked a Suite with Sea View but upon arrival they told us it is no longer available and they give us another room for the first 3 days then we can move to the one we booked. Staff was very nice at first, but then they ignore us and not answering the phone or messages. Unfortunately, we had to leave 2 days earlier because of terrible news, my husband’s dad passed away. They didn't do anything to partially refund us. Do yourself a favour and avoid this place at all costs.

    This is an excellent hotel, where we have stayed overnight on a number of occasions. It gives terrific value: superb location, great food, comfortable rooms at a very good price. But what makes it truly outstanding is the friendliness and helpfulness of the people who run it. They always make us feel very welcome.

    I felt safe in the town and plan to come back as a solo...

    I felt safe in the town and plan to come back as a solo traveller! The only thing I would be wary of is that the locals use motorbikes to go back and forth with supplies to the restaurants as they are too small to store lots of stock, they come down the road really quick and come close too. For me and my mum it was fine, we were able to navigate around, however for those with young children, older people or less abled may find it difficult to handle dodging them on the slippery stones of the old streets.
