Excellent location. Its right next to the new port where you can either get a seaboat to the center of Chora (which only takes 10 minutes) or the ferrie to another island. They offer free transfer from the airport and back, which is a plus. Clean rooms. 100% recommended.

Staff were exceptionally helpful- always going above and beyond for our needs. The place is just like the pictures, truly beautiful and very clean with a serene vibe. There’s a beach club 2 mins walk away which was an amazing find. I would absolutely stay here again and I never give things a 10 but this takes it for me!!!

FAQs about hotels on Mykonos

The Exclusive Party Island

The ‘Island of Wind’, Mykonos is best known for its 16th-century windmills, good watersports and outrageous nightlife.

The capital is liberal Mykonos Town (or Chora), where windmills overlook beautiful Little Venice with whitewashed houses right on the water. Keep an eye out for Petros the Pelican – the island’s mascot - by the beach. The sunsets here are fantastic, but it’s after dark that the bars and clubs (including famous Cavo Paradiso) on its cobbled streets kick into life. This is the de facto Greek party island, but unlike less exclusive counterparts Malia and Faliraki, you might struggle to find cheap Mykonos hotels here.

A complete contrast is laidback Kalafati, popular with windsurfers. Good for surfing is Ornos, while next door Aghios Ioannis was the setting for the ‘Shirley Valentine’ film. Its sandy beach offers views of uninhabited Delos island whose archaeological sites are UNESCO World Heritage listed.

Elia has the longest beach, while around the coast is Platis Gialos, a popular resort with a good number of Mykonos hotels on the beach on Booking.com. Glass-bottomed boats departing from here give great views of local sealife.

Cruise ships dock at Tourlos and the turquoise waters of neighbouring Aghios Stefanos are sheltered by low hills. Inland, peaceful Ano Mera provides a taste of more traditional Mykonos life.

    We didnt just like everything we LOVED everything ! We stay at Petasos every time we visit Mykonos - the rooms are spacious, clean and with beautiful views ! The breakfast is the best ! Everything is offered and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. You can go to the beach, or the pool or walk around the little village now outside the hotel.     The hotel and our stay was excellent. The bedroom, with its own terrace with sunbeds were amazing. The breakfast, was very complete and with many different options. The pools were incredible and the best is the arrangement the hotel has with Acrogiali hotel that is on the beach so you can use their sunbeds. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to everybody and would choose it again if I go back to Mykonos

    It’s a very cute place run by a local family so they take pride in their property and services. The location is great to explore the party zone at the same time stay away from party crowd when you need a quiet place. The restaurant beside it called is another multi generation one , Nikolas Taverna , a must if you want to still get a feel for the old Mykonos and its flavors!

    It is an excellant location the main beach is full of beach clubs with a high fee to use the beds the windy beach doesn't have sunbeams but free. Very nice bakery and local restaurants. One road back from waterfront were more reasonably price and local greek for was great. Very handy local bus to Mykonos Plus water taxi from Arnos beach is the best was to visit other beaches

    Town centre just a 10 minute bus ride from Manoula’s beach resort which was superb . 10/10 Very clean , comfortable king size bed & great pillows . Staff very friendly & accommodated us to an early check-in after a long day & night of flying. They also gave us a complimentary breakfast on that morning which was superb . The pool over looking the ocean is just amazing & the beach just a short stroll away . Highly recommended !

    It's a quiet beach. The sand is clean and very soft. There are no rocks, making it easy to swim or simply walk. You can rent loungers and umbrellas at a reasonable price. Nearby, there is a well-stocked supermarket with options for both sweet and savory food on site, and next to it, there is a café restaurant. There is also a very convenient and professional scooter rental. All the staff are very friendly. To get around Mykonos, it is advisable to rent a scooter to avoid the traffic and queues of numerous cars. I would definitely return and recommend this location for a vacation somewhat away from the noise of the center.

    The location was great to catch the ferry to Naxos. Sea taxi into Mykonos town and in the town was extremely busy with the people from the cruise ships. Mykonos is beautiful but very expensive. The new port for the ferry’s is a nightmare a free for all with very little help telling you where to go or what to do. I’m glad I’ve experienced it, but I won’t go again.

    If you are looking for a great place to go to the beach and have human prices this is the place If you look for party, I would say this place definitely have the vibe, but not the people probably other way more expensive part of town is a better bet

    Ano Mera is a beautiful village away from the expensive lively part of Mykonos. I would definitely recommend a stay here as the square restaurants are not overly expensive and the food is delightful. Ano Mera is a short 10 minute bus journey to the amazing beach of Elia.

    LGBT friendly beach. Well, mostly men. Less noisy than Super Paradise. Nudist friendly, great vibes all arround. The only minus is the pricing and conditions because they impose a minimum charge from the bar, that they've never enforced, but still, it's a bit annoying when you already pay 70EUR for 2 sunbeds to also be forced to make a minumum order of 100 EUR from the bar. The beach restaurant is very good.

    This is a normal clean beach, but nothing special.

    This is a normal clean beach, but nothing special. There were several beach clubs which denied admission to one person even though they had plenty of vacant lounges which I found discriminating. There is also a small area of public beach.
