A phantistic hotel in th mountains, 20 km from coast. Hotel is young and very comfortable. Bathrooms are big and very modern shower. Big TV with options on Netflix and others. Breakfast is also excellent. We have been every evening for dinner in their restaurant for very good cooking and excellent wines ( especially the Cuvee with a glass price of 3 Euro, is an absolute highlite). We will definite, if we travel on the Pelopones, com again. One word to the indoor pool: Warm water and on one side the option of air blowers like in a whirl pool. Superb!

Achilles Hills Hotel is probably the place where we found all the comfort, peacefulness and joy we could find in our vacation. The place is superb in the evening, when one can admire the sunset over the Methoni castle and the bay while listen dogs barking at distance and then hear the roosters and donkeys sing in the morning...more so from the 24h infinite pool open view... The blend of modern and authentic is just magnificent. Referring to more common reviews comments, cleanness, respect for clients, intimacy, food at the restaurant, wine and serving is irreproachable and suuper. Everything around, from Methoni surroundings, beaches, waterfalls, castles, museums, olive tours or just Greek villages in Messenia or Mani we have visited, continues to brings us memories we want to return to. We extend congratulations to the owner family and hope to see them again. Enjoy your vacation there, you won't regret.

Amazing view towards the sea. Beautiful decoration and very soft / comfortable beds. The stuff was super friendly and welcoming. They tried their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible.     We loved the location and the property!!! The stunning views of the sea from our balcony, as well as, the well kept gardens, the pool and its amenities. The breakfast buffet was extensive with delicious offerings for everyone’s tastes and dietary needs. The room was large and well appointed with very comfortable modern furnishings; the bathroom had both a separate shower and bathtub. The rooms and the whole property were extremely clean!!!! All the staff were cheerful and went out of their way to help us with our questions any of our needs!!!

    Beautiful city center, great places to eat, drink and have fun! The cost at Navarinou str is very nice and close to the city center! There's a wonderful view and sunset at Verga, a beautiful bar called Kastraki, you should definitely visit! Many places to visit and have a daily trip like Pylos, Methoni, Foinikounta, Koroni, Kyparissia to name a few.

    Stoupa is beautiful and has a nice sandy beach. Unfortunately the sunbeds are very close together, making it feel quite crowded. There are some other beautiful beaches not too far away, but they are all pebble beaches so you really need beach shoes to walk on them! The waters are crystal clear, great for swimming and snorkelling. You can rent a peddalo with a slide....great fun! or a kayak or even a little speedboat to explore the coast. Best to have a car to get around as the busses are far and few between. A good selection of restaurants to choose from and there are some nice little shops along the sea front. We will definitely return.

    One of the best cities we have visitted in Peloponnese, the main reason being the amazing scenic beaches that are located quite close. The main Pylos square beatiful and it takes you back in time with the tall trees and the vibrant atmosphere. You can rent a boat if you know how to drive one, take organised cruises from Pylos or Gialova and visit Methoni, Foinikounta, and other amazing little cities around. Go there, you will not regret it!

    Majestic with a castle and the crystal blue waters as a backdrop. Methoni is for everyone - it has history, beach, shopping, friendly and welcoming people and amazing food. I highly recommend making a reservation at Castro (a reservation because you will not get a table unless you do) for a delightful cuisine and spectacular view at sunset. You will not regret it. I also recommend the Rex right by the beach. Excellent food. Enjoy!

    Nice town, beaches in close proximity, old Town 5' from the center with amazing view, ancient places around. Also, famous places in less than an hour drive (Voidokoilia Beach, Costa Navarino hotels, Foinikounta, Pylos, etc.). Farming products (one of the world's best olive oil), nice food and relaxing holidays.

    A traditional small town, friendly community with small shops suitable for a relaxed break away. The Namaste Beach Bar was a real find and we spent most days there - the food was great and the staff were friendly. Several restaurants and coffee/bar places to chill out, eat, drink and relax. The best food we ate was along at the end of the town, a modern looking raised restaurant over looking the bay. The staff in the little supermarket in the main square were very helpful and friendly.

    Good selection of good restaurants / tavernas with very reasonable prices. Mani peninsular mixes mountains and the sea so you have walking options and beach options. Different range of beaches from sheltered sandy beaches with lots of sun loungers and beach bars to more remote beaches with fewer people, and a range of small pebbles/sand to stony, most of them with good beach bars! Also a good coastline to kayak to different beaches and explore caves and hidden inlets that you don't see from the road
