Breathtaking Natural Scenery and Turquoise Waters

The outstanding island of Kefalonia (or Cephalonia) is the largest of the Ionian Sea and has gorgeous turquoise waters, picturesque villages, breathtaking mountains and green forests.

    The location is amazing and it is excellent value for the money. The concept is very good because it offers a privacy due to the fact that the units are divided into bungalows surrounded by lovely flowers and threes and the bungalows are directly on the beach. In our opinion the service, the cleanliness, the food and the location make this place absolutely the best place to stay in this part of the island. From Lixoury goes a ferry so it is easy and fast to reach Agrostoli in only 15 minutes. The hotel is run by the lovely family, very kind and friendly. They serve very good breakfast on the terrace with the marvelous sea view. Also for a lunch or a dinner they are preparing traditional greek meals, that taste absolutely the best in comparison with all the other fast food restorants at the Xi beach. For preparing meals they are using their own home made olive oil that is just perfect. The beautiful sandy beach is looong enough that there was never overcrowded and each bungalow has its own sunbed set. We were lucky enough to see even the sea turtles nests on one part of the beach. If you like beach walks you can enjoy it here early in the morning or before the sunset because you can walk from one end of the beach to the other almost the whole hour along the sandy shore. If you are looking for a nice and quite place to stay this would be very good choice. They are pet friendly and this place deservs all the recommendations and we would love to come back.     A very nice boutique hotel, although was only partial sea view room available but I had a splendid sea view from balcony, everything nearby. excellent location. full of restaurants nearby, supermarkets, souvenir shops and much more, walking near sea and watching turtles early morning amazing. Lithostroto shopping marble walkway behind hotel shops, souvenirs, restaurants, Vallianos Central Square full of restaurants. Ferry station next to hotel . very comfortable room. excellent location, and a very friendly staff. definitely will come again

    Located just above the beach, as we were in the Summer Villa, we had the most amazing view in the front! Convenient with 2 bedrooms(in room bathroom in both)… just exactly enough for a family of 4. Zoe was really nice, so as the cleaning lady. Restaurants nearby, but we had a car rented that made it more comfortable. Thank you!

    Argostoli is uniquely located within a long bay of beautiful calm waters with a nice stone bridge from one side to the other side, perfect for an evening stroll before sunset. Food and shopping, however, were not as unique as in the other Greek islands.

    Lots of choice of bars and restaurants all manned by super friendly staff and food was excellent. Everything was close together along with some restaurants overlooking the lovely Sandy beach which stretched for miles. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and had several day trips out exploring everything this beautiful island had to offer. Would definitely recommend a visit.

    Loved Lixouri - lovely people, very pretty in the town by the water, in the square and food delicious and reasonably priced. Really enjoyed ourselves - myself, my husband, daughter and her husband. Only point to note-not far to walk in but uphill walk back.

Very nice little town, we stayed in a great hotel, near a lovely little beach, great promenade and just enough restaurants and shops. You could go for day trips to other beaches, caves and to Ithaka, hire a boat or just stay and relax!

    Not posh or pretentious.

    Not posh or pretentious. Good for a relaxing holiday rather than a one with wild nightlife or prestigious restaurants or exclusive beach clubs. Seemed safe. Most people would go into Argostoli during there trip rather than just stay in Lassi all the time, as it is larger and has many more shops, bars and restaurants to choose from. Taxis between Lassi and Argostoli are not very expensive.

    Lovely village.

    Lovely village. It's a popular yachting harbour and I think this makes it a bit more expensive than the rest of the island. We swam at Fiko bay which is about a kilometre from where we were staying. Nice and reasonably priced taverna here, though you need to book for the evening.

    I made a lot of research before choosing where to stay in Kefalonia. I think it it the best location. the distances to the main beaches are short. it is absolutely amazing the entire island. family and pet friendly. amazing small beaches as well. good food.

    A scruffy run down port area.

    A scruffy run down port area. Lots of closed nearly derelict buildings. No wonder the taverna owners don’t have much enthusiasm as it’s a dying duck, Water looked minging so we didn’t even bother going in the sea. Beach dirty and covered in rubbish and seaweed. Remetzos bar was quirky and the only restaurant worth going to Otzibars.

    Lovely quiet area, but with ameneties such as supermarkets, restaurants right on your doorstep. No Clubs/Bars etc, banging out kiddie music 24/7 (which is what I call rave/house music....that same beat to every song!!,...... every 'song' sounds the same??....Sh*t!!) OK...Yeah if you (unfortunately) like that kind of thing.....go to Ibiza, Benidorm or Magaluf!!. Lourdhata is the kind of place where you go to unwind & chill out (out of the rat-race). At night you can't even hear a pin drop.....brilliant.

    Svoronata is a beautiful destination near to the airport.

    Svoronata is a beautiful destination near to the airport. There are lots of stunning beaches to visit and an abundance of quality tavernas to visit - we particularly enjoyed Esperides which is set in an orange grove. We also enjoyed the lively La Calma for food and drinks and Milos for fabulous sunset views and delicious seafood. We found lots of local supermarkets for supplies and the greek people were so welcoming and friendly.
