The breakfast buffet was absolutely incredible, the staff were excellent and so so helpful and nice to talk to. The property was beautiful and swimming in the Agean every day was so amazing and the beach access was perfection. It’s worth it to spring for a sea view.

The hotel location was great as it is very close to the northern exit for those who are heading to Lamia. Breakfast was fresh and rich. We like the atmosphere. This is the second time we stay in the same hotel, and we love it very much!!

    We were given a clean room with a beautiful view in an overall very nice hotel with friendly and professional staff and a delicious breakfast. If you want to explore Poros, just be aware that the hotel is a bit out of the way, which may add to its charm, but can also mean you have to walk longer distances. We simply rented a scooter and had a wonderful time finding places off the map.

    So much to see and there's a real danger of cultural...

    So much to see and there's a real danger of cultural overload. Restaurants in general are good and reasonably priced for the area. A real must is the hop on hop off bus ( 3 companies- all good). They will give you a sense of where everything is. My favourites were the Acropolis Hill (Pantheon), The Acropolis Museum (Absolutely stunning) and the National Archaeological Museum. In the old town Plaka District there is an old ruin around every corner. Also a great place for food and gifts.

    I traveled with my daughter & grandson from the US to London...

    I traveled with my daughter & grandson from the US to London for a couple of days, then flew to Athens for a cruise leaving the next day. We made our way out of Athens to stay at the cruise port. We were exhausted but our time at the Seaside Hotel was a wonderful reprieve. It was charming, everyone so friendly and accommodating. I regret that we didn't have more time to enjoy it.

    Convenient location close to the airport 20Euros pickup from the airport and 20E return. Our apartment was 8-10 minutes from food locations which really was only one restaurant open on a Monday night - I expected more choice. Though we were happy with the food we bought.

    A home made with love

    A home made with love We only stayed for one night, but we felt comfortable and fresh, like at home. The hostess carefully described how to enter the house and waited for us to confirm that everything was okay despite the late hour. The terrace offers an incredible view of the sea, there is a separate dining area and a sofa under the stars. The rooms are spacious and artistic. There is an unobtrusive elegant artistic accent everywhere - beautifully paintings on the walls or an element on the terrace, truly impressive art. The rooms are spacious and with a view, all have air conditioning. We thank the hosts for their hospitality - they had left water in the fridge, breakfast, coffee, which were valuable to us, given the late hour of our arrival and the early hour of our departure.

    We had choice to go to one of three closest islands near Athens. Aegina is big and the closest to Athens so quite crowded on weekends where Athenians escape from the heat. Hydra is quite beautiful but a bit expensive, no sandy beaches near center and no transport on island except of horses and donkeys (it is charming, though, worth to visit for one day). So the last choice was Poros, with moderate prices, nice beaches, even free municipal bus, and 5 minutes boat ride to the mainland village of Galatas, which also has great restaurants to enjoy authentic Greek cuisine.

    A perfect little place for a relaxing beach holiday. Easy to get there with a ferry from Athens in 30 minutes. The little port is close to everything. There are different types of beaches to choose from. Our favourite restaurant was Kaliva. Service might be a little imperfect due to the young staff, but they are very kind and the food is wonderful fir a good price.

    Nice beaches, nice vibes, beautiful buildings/architecture, nice strolls and walks, several cultural and historic references, nice restaurants, friendly people, perfect for a short getaway from Athens. Transportation is tricky though, the only working option is a scooter that needs to be booked much in advance. Also, if it's windy, some nice beaches are not easily accessible

    So much delicious food to choose from and lovely quiet port.

    So much delicious food to choose from and lovely quiet port. Great spot if you want to relax. Everything is in walking distance and best spot for taxis around the island as well as boats for trips to nearby islands.
