We enjoyed our stay here very much. Staff is super helpful and nice, place is sparkly clean, modern with great view in historical center, close to metro station as well. Breakfast was delicious, every day different options. Swimming pool, sauna, what else can you ask for!? They even have scales on the 3rd floor to weigh your suitcase in case you bought too much Giorgian wine (as I did, 30 kg 🙈) Definitely recommended!

I stayed in a standard room and it was very spacious. I loved that elements of the old caravansaray were incorporated into the hotel. Excellent soundproofing, my room was on the first floor, right on one of Tbilisi’s busiest tourist streets and I couldn’t hear any outside noise. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful.

Set in Batumi, less than 1 km from Batumi Beach, Hotel Monarch offers accommodation with a terrace, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Although English is not widely spoken,there was always a staff member who was fluent in English. The staff were wonderful,helping and organising personal tours,and the train back to Tbilisi. The Monarch Hotel is the only place in the world,in my experience ,that offered Caviar at the breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet was so good,with many choices and fresh fruit. The location is just around the corner from Europe Square,and walking distance to many sites.
