I got a really friendly welcome when I after 7.30pm following a long drive. Both team members I spoke to were chatty and friendly and very professional. The food was lovely and served quickly. My room was fabulous. Immaculately clean, warm and very comfortable. It was quiet too which made getting to sleep very easy. Breakfast was very nice too. The lady who served me was lovely. I didn't catch her name but we chatted a few times. I highly recommend this lovely place to stay whether it be for business, like me, or pleasure. I'll definitely stay again.

    Room very good. Staff excellent.

Room very good. Staff excellent. Had a small issue with TV which was sorted very quickly. Restaurant excellent. Bar had a good atmosphere. It's not huge so has a 'personal' feel. Felt it was well located for the Town Centre and Iron bridge Gorge, each being around 5 miles away.

The town was clean and very picturesque. Lots to see and do i.e. visit the castle, Laura's Tower, the jail, quarry park, museum, market hall, library. Local people very friendly and spent time telling you where to visit, how to get to places.

The Victorian town at Blists Hill is well worth a visit as is a walk over the iron bridge. There are plenty of places to eat and drink. Ironbridge is best discovered on foot and there are carparks so you can park up and do this.

Bridgnorth is a pretty market town with a funicular lift from the High town to the Low town. The river frontage is very pretty. There are cafes, pubs and restaurants. It is the home to the Severn Valley Railway. Very near to the beautiful Shropshire Hills and various National Trust properties. The Ironbridge Museums are excellent and very near. Also the RAF Museum at Cosford is near. Near to the M54 motorway for access.

We had a lovely weekend visiting university daughter. Stayed at The Swan Inn on Lower Bar. Loved the short stroll to the high street and shopping. Very friendly locals. Lots more to do than we had time for. Had Sunday lunch at The Lamb Inn at Edgmond - highly recommended. The architecture of the buildings along the high street was lovely.
