We cannot recommend Lyndhurst House enough!
We cannot recommend Lyndhurst House enough! It is such a beautiful house with charming and unique rooms. It felt very homely, and our hosts, Alison and Nick, were incredibly kind and helpful, recommending great places to eat and even suggesting a route for one of our days. The breakfast was delicious and very filling - definitely worth it! We enjoyed freshly cooked dishes, as well as fresh fruit, yoghurt, and the usual coffee and tea. We stayed on the upper floor and had the best night’s sleep, as it was very quiet there. Everything was spotless. A wonderful stay and a real gem - we will definitely be back!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

A quiet small village with friendly people. Good to use as a base. Easy drive to the forest, Brockenhurst, Burly, Lyndhurst and Milford On Sea etc. Great breakfast at the Sway Deli. There's two pubs to choose from and there's the lovely Manor Hotel if you fancy a posh meal.Guest review byPoonamUnited Kingdom - 10.0

The Lodge was beautifully appointed, spacious & decorated very tastefully. Extra large deck overlooking a wildlife lake with Duck & Swan food provided. Location was perfect to explore the New Forest and the facilities around the holiday village were awesome. Great communication from the lodge hosts & reasonably priced for such a lovely place to stay. Will definitely re-book when we return to England.Guest review byAlisonAustralia - 10.0

It was a really wunderfull place from which we could visit all the spots at the amazing National Park New Forest. Hostess Linda was very kind, helpfull and she even took care of some breakfast for us. Next to the beautiful site it is very comfortable and complete. We certainly come back here! Don’t forget to visit Beaulieu, Lyndhurst and the beautiful Bucklers Hard. There is a nice pub and good food!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

We were disappointed that the pier ferry wasn't working but the pier and the train were very interesting - lots of plaques on the pier with interesting information and lots of inscriptions on the planks on the pier. The town was very nice - a surprising number of different shops in such a small area. The town centre and pier within very easy walking distance from the Boathouse hotel. Good meals served there with a good selection at reasonable prices.Guest review byMonicaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

Very pretty location and easy access to New Forest but the Lodge we stayed in had no living area and a tiny Kitchen diner not really suitable for more than two although meant for four people. The Lodge was very clean with nice decor but just lacked the comfort as no where to sit other than bedroomsGuest review byPaulUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lovely little town with great antique shops, quirky cafes and great pubs. Worth a visit as very central to the New Forest. Traffic goes directly through so a nightmare crossing roads etc. Seemed quite dangerous as always busy. Also traffic noise. Didn't put us off though!!Guest review byBreeze30United Kingdom
