The Old Courthouse Pub - go upstairs to see the old courtroom (available for event hire) and the toilets used to be the prisoners' cells (& rumoured to be haunted!). The Turkish Kitchen - great food, good value & very peasant staff.Guest review byMike ChagouriUnited Kingdom - 10.0

This was my 4th trip to Gloucester so I have seen many of the sights before. The Cathedral is the main site to see. The cloisters have the most beautiful fan-vaulting stone work that I have ever seen in a Cathedral. Harry Potter fans will enjoy them as some scenes from the films were shot there. There are several quite old pubs in Gloucester which are well worth visiting plus it was a Roman town so there are some Roman ruins dotted about.Guest review byBrian - 8.0
The history and buildings were really interesting.
The history and buildings were really interesting. Plenty of shops and cafes within easy walking distance. Museums, amphitheatre and art galleries were great. Friendly people and the tourist information was a hit. Wish we had more time to visit the park. The Parish Church of St John Baptist and the Augustinian Abbey of St Mary and the grounds are well worth a visit.Guest review byTiger 32Australia - 10.0

Location with the small river running through the town was very picturesque. Lots of good eateries, Box Bush was our favourite bakery for breakfast. Had the oats with chia and also the yoghurt as well as various pastries, all yummy. Coffee was quite acceptable.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Our stay in Stow-on-the-Wold was charming and peaceful – cobbled streets, cosy tea rooms, and friendly locals at every turn. We wandered through antique shops, enjoyed hearty pub meals, and soaked in the Cotswolds’ timeless beauty. The perfect blend of relaxation and little adventures. Oh, and the cocktails! 🍸 We’ll definitely be back.Guest review byJonnyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We didn't stay in Stroud but in Amberley a village near by. It was fascinating, very interesting to walk around as long as you avoid the cow pats. Cows are allowed to graze and wander where they wish.Guest review byCarolUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Moreton on marsh is a beautiful town.
Moreton on marsh is a beautiful town. There’s a market there on Tuesdays. Great places to eat gorgeous fish and chip bar. The black bear Inn fantastic food. Bellini Italian restaurant fantastic. Stay away from the Thai restaurant (SIAM COTTAGE THAI) cold food which we waited 1 hr and 15 minutes for. Service below poor. Plus if you order soft drinks (J2O) they share the bottle between 2 glasses and charge for 2. We used go guide to see around the Cotswolds Elaine the guide was fabulous we visited many places Bourton on the water, Snowshill where Bridget Jones (first one) was filmed, chipping Campden, Cirencester - Bibury etcGuest review byBrendaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I believe Chipping Campden to be overall the best location in the Cotswolds. It has everything you need including pubs, a cocktail bar, restaurants, shops, a small mini-market, and the high street is picturesque and atmospheric. Just a lovely little town with great access to the rest of the Cotswolds. Da Luigi Italian restaurant is a particular find, with wonderful food and very friendly service.Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom - 10.0
