Beautiful pastel buildings and loads of character from standing medieval arched walkway/ wall. Picturesque harbour. Many excellent dining options- we went for house made ravioli with shrimp at il caniletto. Area very walkable. Boat ride to nearby island will have to wait for another time!Guest review byF KATHLEENCanada - 10.0

Cardigan is set in a beautiful part of Wales.
Cardigan is set in a beautiful part of Wales. There are plenty of beaches and little coastal towns worth visiting, plus it's not too far from towns such as Aberystwyth. The town itself could use a little updating, looking a bit gloomy in parts. It's a shame because there are some really nice shops and restaurants there that offer great food and unique products. Parking on the main street is easy, especially for disabled drivers like myself. There are quite a few blue badge bays, and the town is relatively flat.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Modern, convenient and budget friendly room with nice clean appliances. Hair about the place though, bed and pillows which wasn't good, it isnt mine im bald and my girlfriend is blonde! Apart from this all was lovely. No hoover available or area to wash your dishes but we made do with shower and hand wash basin so not a problemGuest review bywayneUnited Kingdom - 10.0
My wife and I are huge fans of all of west Wales.
My wife and I are huge fans of all of west Wales. Lovely towns and villages, welcoming people and excellent beaches and countryside. Saundersfoot is a lovely seaside town with a great beach, lively harbour and plenty of shops, bars and eating places. It's a great walking area as well with adjacent villages such as Wiseman's Bridge and Amroth within walking distance. Tenby is a larger town with all the amenities and is only a 5 minute drive away. Further places to visit are Narberth, Haverfordwest and Solva, all within reasonable driving times.Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Such a lovely area, handy for visiting some beautiful coastal locations. We beach combed, paddled, cliff walked, ate out, went to a Mill, shopped for gifts & things of interest. Only had a couple of days but could easily has spent much longer. We were very lucky with beautiful weather.Guest review byLindaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I don't travel too far from the property, as I am happy with the local context, but if you like travelling out, then there is lots on locally and further out of Llandovery. Lots of stillness, peace and enjoying the natural world. Due to allergies, cooking facilities in the property make it really easy for eating in. Solo and families can enjoy lots of walks. A scattering of independent shops and pubs to enjoy.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Even though the weather was bad (very strong gales and rain) we managed to see a lot in the area. The Cathedral and the area around it is amazing. The beaches and scenery are beautiful. The area is challenging for the less able but well worth the visit.Guest review byJenniferUnited Kingdom
