- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 104 reviewsA beautiful, unusual, oasis of calm and tranquillity. Everything has been put together with attention to detail and quality. I am very fussy and I cannot praise this place highly enough. The bed was really comfortable, there was tons of hot water, the accommodation gives privacy to all guests, the Japanese swimming pool was a perfect temperature, Genevieve was a delight to talk to. We will definitely return.Guest review byFIonaItaly

Great for cheaper and more spacious accommodation and ten minute trip up the hill in the regular funicular to get to Arc 1600. Saves a 50 minute car drive, especially if snowy or time is key. Though usually no snow itself in Bourg. Pretty old town and a functional new town on parallel street. Big supermarkets for stocking up.Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Loved this resort!
Loved this resort! Great variety of ski runs for all grades of skiers . Lifts of high quality lifts & many options for getting down the mountain if you re just out of steam & don’t want to ski home. A high energy resort with live music in the bars apres ski.Guest review byMarella - 10.0
It’s one of the premiere ski resorts for a reason.
It’s one of the premiere ski resorts for a reason. Huge ski area, that never disappoints. We have skied Val for over 16yrs, and always find ourselves coming back. A few of the livelier places in town have disappeared over the last few years so it’s not quite the Apres ski town it used to be. But as we are getting older we don’t miss them as our days of being out all night are behind us. So the fact there are lots of nice restaurants for the evening is right up out street nowadays as opposed to loud bars and nightclubs.Guest review byGarethUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I was motorcycling the Route des Grandes Alpes with a friend. This hotel was at a convenient location after descending the col de Izoard at the end of our first full day. The temperature outside was 34c. The hotel provided exactly the kind of break we needed after quite a demanding day. After food and refreshment, a good nights sleep and a superb breakfast we felt well prepared for our next day's riding. I'd recommend this stop to anyone else doing the same trip!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Such a great little village to stay in above Bourg Sainte Maurice. You can access a local boulangarie to buy the most incredible breads, pastries and selection of savoury snacks. Excellent location to Sainte Foy as well as Les Arcs, Tignes and Val D'IsereGuest review byKimberlyAustralia - 10.0

La Rosiere is a ski resort high up the Petit St Bernard pass above Bourg St Maurice. La Rosiere is a large chalet-style modern building near the top end of the main street. Parking just across the road. Step-free access to a lift for those with heavy bags with wheels. Room was very comfortable, with toilet and shower.Guest review byChrisNew Zealand - 2.0

i would not stay in this hotel as they are fake and not helpful. they keep on saying we are sorry and than they dont do anything about it. and becareful when you use their concierge service, they charge you %5 for every charge and the ski instructors they find charge you whatever they feel like even though you stay with them for 3 hours, dont invite them to lunch as we did, he charged us for his time and the hotel didnt do anything about it.Guest review byDenizTurkey - 10.0
Perfect base to explore the 3 Vallees.
Perfect base to explore the 3 Vallees. Not the most picturesque resort but has all the amenities you need with easy access. Some may prefer the landscape of the Meribel and Courchevel vallees with their trees but there is a nice openness and vast views of the mountains in the Menuires and Val Thorens that may feel less claustrophobic. Favourite places: La Marmite and Au Village restaurants/ La Godille for ski gear/ Sherpa for mini marketGuest review byVanessaIreland - 10.0

Plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and sports shops with good access to resorts like Les Arcs and La Rosière. Very walkable; not too big and not too small. Need to be patient with traffic between 5pm - 7pm during peak season.Guest review byAndrewSpain - 10.0
I was there for skiing only so that is all I can talk about.
I was there for skiing only so that is all I can talk about. And it was just perfect. The slopes, ski lifts, nature - everything is outstanding. Highlight of our trip was daily tour across the Val d'Isere/Tignes resort using ski lifts and blue slopes. Skiing through the woods or on top of the peeks is an unforgettable experience. And you don't need to be a professional skier - blue slopes will allow you this experience.Guest review byAleksandarSerbia
