- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 785 reviewsOarsman’s Bay Lodge absolutely exceeded our expectations - we spent a fantastic week in this remote paradise on Nacula island! I’ve loved everything about it: the remote & quiet island feel it evokes & its location (set in its own bay and stunning coral reef, with only one neighbouring resort), the lovely staff and their amazing hospitality, the great bures (bungalows) by the sea, their lovely decor and the attention to detail throughout the little resort (in the common & dining area), and most of all, that it feels like a small private community/ homestay, interacting with the (mostly younger) guest in the greatly organised (free or paid) activities like reef snorkelling or the trip to the nearby caves - we’ve certainly made new friends :) Plus, I loved that you can snorkel the house reef at high tide (and borrow equipment free of charge), at your own pace, or SUPs and canoes - all greatly recommended activities!! The meals (quality and chefs‘ creativity) were unmatched. There’s a good breakfast selection (Western style and local - best are the fresh tropical fruits & vegetables!), great lunch, and selection between a fish or chicken dish for dinner - especially the freshly caught red snapper and local yam were amazing. Oh and afternoon tea (and daily changing, fresh cakes) are yummy and not to miss after a snorkel or swim! I also truly like that Oarsman’s is unpretentious and unfussy, and in a non-luxurious way providing you with everything and more than you need (picture-perfect settings such as white sand, palm trees, amazing sea and reef, lovely fresh flowers everywhere, great food, and wifi limited to the lobby to truly be off the grid), making for a relaxed, and thanks to the small size, family-like atmosphere that truly helped to unwind and forget about the world for a week! The entire Oarsman’s team made this one of - if not the - best vacations of my life, and deserves a big vinaka vakalevu for a truly memorable stay! <3Guest review byKurzbauerSwitzerland
- From £195.60 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 768 reviews- The food is beyond exceptional, there wasn’t single meal that we had that wasn’t amazing. Everything from curry’s, stir fry’s to roast dinners every dish was delicious the kitchen team are outstanding - Jodie the scuba instructor was brilliant, she was knowledgable and infinitely patient, reassuring us every step of the way. We had a really good time doing the ‘discover scuba’ trip - We stayed in a bungalow which was much more spacious than the accommodation we stayed in on the other islands and more importantly had air conditioningGuest review byAlexanderUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 979 reviewsWe loved it so much! We stayed 7 days in a dorm tent and it was very comfortable and got cleaned every day. We went snorkeling every day from all of the 3 beaches and saw so many different fishes and corals. It was beautiful! But as muck diving lovers we enjoyed the muck diving with Rob the most! We were fortunate enough to find 3 different types of the rare Shaun the Sheep nudibranch, a ghostpipefish and even a seahorse. 🥰Guest review byJuliaThailand
- From £43.54 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 119 reviewsI stayed only 2 nights at Navi's homestay and I wish I had more time. They welcomed me as familly, food was delicious, and it was a great experience to discover the local life (going to church, visiting the village, drinking kava with locals..). Thanks for opening your home to me and for your kindness !Guest review byAnne-gaelleReunion

We wanted a homestay run by locals, so we got an authentic experience. No roads, no cars, only walking tracks and hiking trails. Wonderful. They are isolated, so no shop, I would recommend taking sachet coffees etc if you like more than instant. If you get inspired to want to help them (as I was) you could think of taking snorkelling flippers and leaving them there, or packraft paddles (they come apart), or a yoghurt maker and powder packets to make yoghurt. Some books, games, or big maps of Yasawa. We had a week, which was just right....but didn't get to do all the activities we intended to. Too nice being relaxed and even lazy. The ferry ride there is fun and interesting and they supply complimentary transfers to and from accommodation. South Sea Cruises. Apparently there is a supply boat from Lautoka once a week which is much cheaper.Guest review byRowenaNew Zealand - 10.0

Gorgeous island - beautiful beaches, coral reef, and the island itself is lovely - you can go on a mountain forest walk as well as be on the beach. Delicious food, and lots of activities - we enjoyed the mountain walks, the beaches, diving, snorkelling and also just relaxing by the pool, trying out the yoga classes and massages and also the trips to the nearby local villages.Guest review byGaliaAustralia - 10.0

The world underwater was the most incredible thing in the island. Also the short hike with 3 lookouts was really special as well, the views from the top are just incredible! The Barefoot Manta resort really meet our expectations.Guest review bySaez Rodenas - 8.0

This is a very special place, great location, peaceful, quiet, clean and easy to get to - perfect for taking a break, relax and recharge from the usual busyness of life! The resort offers great views of the ocean, one of the best sunset we have seen, clean white sandy beach, local food and culture experiences, snorkeling, handline fishing, swimming with Manta rays and many other activities. Most importantly, you will be taken great care of by an incredible team of staff led by Paul and Liti. Special thanks to Nimi, Peci, Anne, Rusi, Fane, Sai, Api, Lai, John, Rauga and La. We miss you all and looking forward to be back soon ❤️😊Guest review bySanaeNew Zealand - 10.0

Very windy when i stayed which was a bummer but the room and its bathroom was very nice and private. I would highly recommend getting someone to take you to blue lagoon beach across the other side of the island over the hills as it was stunning and a great swimming spot! Near Nanuya Island resort.Guest review byDeclanAustralia - 10.0

I liked the relaxing vibe of the place, was nice just to chill in the bure or hammock or do activities like kayaking or hiking the trail over the hills, which is a great photo opportunity overlooking other fijian islands.Guest review byDeclanAustralia - 10.0
Beautiful small island resort - the bush walk recommended.
Beautiful small island resort - the bush walk recommended. Eating was at the restaurant with a set menu. The ferry takes 3 hours - next time perhaps the helicopter would be better so we didn't have to stay on the mainland a night at each end.Guest review byMelW86New Zealand
