Very friendly staff! Super helpful, cheerful and wonderful women at the reception. Beautiful design of the hotel and very comfortable beds. It was my mom's birthday and I could order flowers in the room in advance, so the stunning bouquet waited for us and wowed my mom when we arrived (also discrete paying possible). The hotel has an underground parking garage, a rooftop pool, an elevator and many facilities more. Location is also good.

Such a lovely hotel, comfortable beds, great breakfast, best location and as a cherry on the cake the most wonderful staff. We celebrated my sisters 50th and we got bubbles for breakfast, such a nice gesture. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and this is actually the best one. There wasn’t anything the staff couldn’t assist with. My biggest recommendations and you will not go wrong with this choice.

This is a very well managed property in a nice secluded village. The prime location directly at the shore of a crystal clear beach overlooking the dragonera island makes this hotel ideal for relaxation for nature lovers. The relaxed little village offers a variety of restaurants, little shops, a bakery, and a couple of supermarkets. There is a supermarket right across the street from the hotel with many healthy options and freshly baked goods. The restaurants along the beach are walking distance from the hotel. The hotel’s restaurant is also a very good option if you don’t want to walk (but it’s more pricey, which is normal for a hotel). The breakfast is great, with many fresh to order eggs, porridge, and pancakes. The room is comfortable and clean with a minimalist atmosphere with maximum use of the space.

A firm favourite with sun-seekers, Majorca (or Mallorca) is the largest Balearic Island. The enchanting capital Palma has a grand cathedral overlooking the harbour, a 14th-century castle and Arab baths, to name just a few highlights. Nearby is Palma Nova, home to lots of Majorca hotels on the beach within easy reach of the fantastic nightlife in Magaluf. Further along are calmer Santa Ponsa and Port d’Andratx. In the opposite direction, S’Arenal has a fantastic, palm-lined beach and quick airport transfers. North of the island is UNESCO World Heritage-listed Serra de Tramuntana whose mountain lakes are absolutely beautiful. A trip to its highest peak – Puig Major – offers wonderful views. Down below is Port de Soller, a lovely town with some excellent Majorca hotels for families. Other popular family resorts are Alcudia with its long sandy beach, and neighbouring Port de Pollenca. Ruins of the Roman town of Pollentia are nearby. In the east Cala Ratjada benefits from 2 beautiful coastlines, while the beaches at Cala Bona and Cala Millor certainly live up to their names – Good and Best. Cala d’Or (Golden Cove) is another aptly named resort: its golden, sandy beach is nestled between rocks lapped by turquoise waters.     A beautiful city, a must to visit. Wonderful architecture and interesting shops. A lovely department store. The cathedral is magnificent. We had a lovely day trip into the mountains. We also visited the Miro gallery and museum. There are frequent buses and taxis are quite cheap. Plenty of nice restaurants.

The only major drawback is that the hotel feels more like a “mini Germany,” since it’s a very popular holiday spot for German travelers.     Magaluf is a great destination for those who enjoy nightlife and clubbing – there are plenty of bars and clubs to choose from, offering something for everyone. You'll also find large supermarkets and a wide variety of good restaurants. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for a romantic getaway, as it's more lively and party-oriented. It’s a convenient base for exploring the southern part of Mallorca and is close to Palma. Renting a car on the island is easy and can be done at affordable prices.

    Typical Spanish tourist town.

    Typical Spanish tourist town. Plenty of good bars and restaurants, some with live music. Would of like it to be a bit more boutique'y and a little less Spanish/British bucket and spade. So not a lot to see, unless you like these very typical Spanish beach resorts. But overall good for a short break.

    The neighborhood of the hotel is quite calm and not so loud as it resides the north part of playa de Palma. the south part is more busy with loud tourist, but at midnight all loud public music is turned off.

    It really depends what you want from your vacation.

    It really depends what you want from your vacation. I would stay again, but now I know what to expect. It doesn’t have that “local” feel, it is much more touristic. But it’s a good and affordable base to explore other areas of Mallorca. I would definitely recommend for families and also for people who enjoy night live. If you’re not too fussed by the surroundings and just want an area to sleep, but venture to other places, then this is also definitely a good area

    The Cala d’Or resort is a lovely resort….

    The Cala d’Or resort is a lovely resort…. It has lovely bars and restaurants… the marina is incredible with amazing views from the terrace of restaurants.. we had incredible meals for both lunch and dinner and really enjoyed our wine… overall a wonderful short break.

    I enjoyed Cala Millor, it’s a pleasant area, but if your goal is to explore the island and visit other places, I would recommend staying somewhere more central. Cala Millor is quite far from most of the main attractions, including other beautiful beaches, which makes travelling around tiring and time-consuming.
