- From € 170 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 478 reviewsWe recently had the pleasure of staying at the Akassia Swiss Resort in Marsa Alam – El Quseir and I must say, it was an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that made me feel right at home. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service provided by Mr.Hosni Abdel Magied, the guest relation manager, an extremely professional and attentive person, ensuring that all our needs were met and that my stay was as comfortable as possible. He went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful experience and all of our group of four truly appreciate his efforts. The resort is situated in a stunning location, right on the Red Sea, with breathtaking views of the sea and the surrounding landscape. The crystal-clear waters were perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving. The beach was clean and well-maintained, and I enjoyed lounging on the sand and soaking up the sun, as well as near the heated pool in the vicinity of the Pool bar, where we enjoyed the fantastic cocktails expertly crafted. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, with a fantastic view of the sea from our beds, with all the amenities I needed to make my stay enjoyable.Every day we came back from the sun bathing we were welcomed by very nice towel ornaments decorated with flowers and purple basil. What a wonderful scent! The food was absolutely delicious and varied, with plenty of options to suit all tastes and the restaurant`s location by the Red Sea made for some of the most breathtaking views I have ever seen. We enjoyed local and international cuisine, many types of grilled food, fruits, mouth-wattering deserts, accompanied by a large variety of soft and alchoholic beverages. But what really made my stay at Akassia Swiss Resort so special was the staff. I cannot helped myself not to mention Said, the most friendly and hospitable waiter always eager to assist with anything we needed Overall, our stay at Akassia Swiss Resort was exceptional!Guest review bycristinelRomania
- From € 132.53 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 556 reviewsReview I would like to share my fantastic experience with all those people who have not yet been to this wonderful place. The location of the property is excellent, just a few minutes from the airport, the services are extraordinary, nothing is missing, free wi-fi, extraordinary cuisine that satisfies all the tastes of the various guests from all over the world. Unexpected holiday that far exceeded expectations. My extremely positive comment is especially for those who work within the structure who know how to make the stay very familiar. I therefore thank the general manager Atef Osman, an exemplary leader attentive to the satisfaction of his customers. special thanks to the factotum Mahmoud, an exceptional guy who accompanied us throughout the holiday. Thank you thank you thank you Mahmoud. In every resort there should be a person like Mahmoud who does not abandon his guests and was an important link that united us guests with the structure. All the staff work with a smile, happy and transmit their serenity to their customers too. I thank the two chefs Ahmed and Osman who are always ready to cook with all their commitment and ability, bringing out delicious dishes from the kitchen. The kitchen manager Ahmed Ali was a fantastic, unique person and above all very good at his job. I had the opportunity to meet equally special people like Wafe who monitored everything in the pool with a careful eye, Wael who accompanied us to the wonderful Italian restaurant Dolce Vita, Hassan, Abanou b, Beshoy, Alaa all excellent waiters and staff of the structure. With these people the holiday was extraordinary. The spacious, clean rooms, all with balconies or outdoor spaces facing the sea or swimming pools. Pools with warm and clean water, fun slides, very engaging and pleasant entertainment and above all a pier that leads to a wonderful coral reef. Three corners Happy Life is a guarantee in everything. One word to sum it all up: EXCELLENTGuest review byGiovanniItaly
- From € 274.19 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 516 reviewsOur spontaneous decision to spend our holidays at Steigenberger Coraya turned out to be perfect. From the moment we arrived to the moment we (sadly) had to leave, we were treated with wonderful service. Location: The hotel is beautifully located in Coraya Bay, protected from the strong April winds and surrounded by flowers and palm trees. Though the hotel is a bit older, it’s very well maintained and charming. Our room 1315 had a beautiful sea view. We love snorkelling and spent most of our time on the beach. The beachside service was excellent - always attentive, and my mojitos and margaritas were great! Food: The food was delicious with plenty of variety, including tasty local dishes. There’s a lady by the beach bar who bakes fresh Arabic bread, it smells so great. Lots of vegetables, great meat options, and very little junk food. We ate a lot, but it felt healthy. Activities: There was something going on every day - yoga, tennis, theme nights, volleyball, and more. Big thanks to Freddy and Kristýna from the animation team and to the tennis coach who made my first tennis session so much fun! Service: Mohammed, our warm-hearted waiter, took excellent care of us. Also, Ismael and the entire reception team were incredibly attentive and generously offered us both early check-in and late check-out. Our room was spotless thanks to Ahmed, who was always there when we needed a new beach towel. We truly had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back! - Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.9Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 1,010 reviewsI recently stayed at Gemma's hotel, and one of the highlights of my stay was the food. The breakfast was excellent—rich, flavorful, and offered a wide range of options that left me more than satisfied each morning. Dinner was equally impressive, with a varied menu that catered to different tastes and provided a truly delightful dining experience. The quality and variety of the meals alone make this hotel a great choice for anyone who values good food during their stay. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable. I’d like to give special mention to Mr. Mahmoud, who went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant experience. We originally booked a standard room for myself and another for my family, but to our surprise, the hotel upgraded us to a suite for my family and a deluxe room for me. They even provided a beach umbrella at no extra cost, which was a thoughtful gesture. To top it all off, the hotel staff surprised me by celebrating my birthday with a cake, making the occasion truly memorable. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations, especially with their outstanding service, generous upgrades, and personal touches that made our stay unforgettable.Guest review byNajemBelgium
- From € 225.65 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 783 reviewsA Perfect Getaway – We’ll Definitely Be Back! This beautifully maintained hotel is set in a stunning bay, with a scenic seaside promenade perfect for walks. Snorkeling is easy right off the beach, and there’s even a dive club on-site for the more adventurous. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped — ideal for a relaxing stay. The resort features three lovely swimming pools with plenty of loungers; no need to rush or reserve. The food is great: the buffet is varied and enjoyable, and the à la carte restaurant rivals a top European brasserie in quality and atmosphere. The staff — from the pool and evening bars to the restaurants — are friendly, helpful, and multilingual. They’re present without being pushy, especially when it comes to tips, which makes you feel at home. The entire resort — rooms, gardens, bars — is kept spotlessly clean. The reception and PR officers are always available and eager to help. Entertainment runs all day and well into the evening, with something for every age. Fun pool games, darts, volleyball, and more are on offer daily. This place ticks all the boxes for a great holiday — we’ll definitely return!Guest review byfreddyBelgium
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 131 reviewsExceptional Experience – A Perfect Couples’ Getaway! Our stay at this resort in Egypt was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and taken care of in every possible way. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation to the fullest. The food was delicious with a great variety of options, and the drinks were top-notch, thanks to the amazing bartenders. The property itself was stunning—beautifully maintained, clean, and offering breathtaking views. A special shoutout to Mohamed salim from reception, who went above and beyond to assist us with everything we needed. Also, a huge thank you to Taha, the barman, who made our evenings even better with his amazing cocktails and friendly attitude. The entertainment team truly made a difference in our stay—Yousaf Mohamed and Rico, you guys are incredible! Your energy and enthusiasm made every activity and show so much fun. We loved every second of our stay and can’t wait to return. Highly recommend this resort for anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation! 10/10!Guest review byMantasLithuania
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 210 reviewsGreat value for money – peaceful stay with beautiful reef and pool I stayed at Marina Resort in Port Ghalib and was pleasantly surprised by the combination of price and quality. The hotel has a charming traditional Arabian décor that creates a peaceful and nostalgic atmosphere. One of the highlights was definitely the beautiful coral reef just off the beach – perfect for snorkeling lovers. The pool was large, clean, and very relaxing, a great spot to unwind during the day. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall service was good. While the food could be improved in terms of taste and variety, considering the overall experience and affordable price, it’s a great value for money. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing escape with stunning sea life and a good pool, this place is definitely worth considering.Guest review byKubilayTurkey
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 78 reviewsIt was very close to the Abu Dabab beach, which was one of the best beaches I've ever been to, with amazing snorkelling, sunbathing and diving opportunities, and some nice bars to get some cold beers. The rooms were clean, cosy, and comfortable, and the area around was full of flowers and greenery, which gave such a nice feel to the place. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, always making sure we were ok, and the food in the restaurant was great. This place is great for SCUBA divers or people who like to spend most of their time by the ocean.Guest review byKiarnaSpain
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 65 reviewsWe stayed in the tent and chalet. It’s a different experience but both are wonderful. Everything centred around and well organised for guests to enjoy underwater life to the max. The concept attracts a certain type of clientele, mostly divers, who are not there to party and make noise but to enjoy and respect nature. Wonderful to disconnect.Guest review byjaydFrance

"I did not leave the grounds of the Iberotel Costa Marès. There are already so many wonderful things to do like snorkeling, diving, massages and especially the many activities offered by Captain Mahmoud's extraordinary team and the high quality shows performed in the evening. All the staff are adorable, attentive, attentive both on the beach and by the pool as well as in the various restaurants, not to mention the maintenance staff and gardeners, the cooks, the waiters (mention special for Ahzem from the main restaurant, Abd Allah at the pool restaurant, Mostafa who is part of Mahmoud's team, Hod Hod on the beach and many others of whom I don't really know the spelling of their first name. are all very courageous, with a sense of humor and kindness like I have rarely seen. Everything is put in place so that you only want to do one thing... come back as quickly as possible."Guest review byValérie LannoyBelgium - 10.0

Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing. You can swim anywhere. No so much facilities ( food places, supermarkets,..) and pharmacies located around hotels. Weather is hot, limited gas stations and road is not preferable to be taken at night.Guest review byMennaEgypt - 8.0

I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea goes. My favourite place of all time is the Concorde Moreen Hotel, with the Hilton coming a strong second. We only ate at the hotels, because our time was limited. I used the taxi service offered online by Booking.com, which I found to be very efficient and reasonable. But I am also a seasoned traveller in Egypt and do not find it difficult to negotiate with taxi drivers. (It can be very useful to ask Chat GPT first what an average trip should cost you, if you are unsure, and then use that as a guideline for your negotiations.) It's an amazing experience to go out on a boat, but picking the right one can make the difference. I will be leaving my review on our experience separately (as it warrants a whole story on its own :))Guest review byAnnie RuurdsSouth Africa - 4.0

The sea was beautiful. Unfortunately strong winds kept me from going into the sea. We stayed mostly in the lagoons. There was no access to sea from the beach, only from the pier. The life guards were good and attentive.Guest review byRolandSwitzerland - 8.0

I mentioned everything in my review, what I liked and didn’t...
I mentioned everything in my review, what I liked and didn’t like. Mainly, I noticed that someone bought a quad bike tour, and they were taken just a little way behind the hotel to ride on a pile of sand for a short while. There was trash and plastic all around, a complete wasteland—nothing pretty. I’m used to greenery, which I understand is lacking in this destination, but I definitely wouldn’t buy an overpriced camel or quad bike tour. Especially because, in that heat, it wouldn’t be an enjoyable experience for me, and with the trash around, definitely not. I did a diving trip, but it ended up being canceled. Unfortunately, they made us leave our things (like backpacks) in a place where locals were moving around, and we had no way to secure them. The original plan was that we would be on a boat. In the end, it didn’t happen, and that was probably for the best. I booked the trip through Booking. I had no particular expectations, even though we were supposed to see dolphins. Eventually, I arranged for diving, and I enjoyed it. Since I’m already a diver, it was easy, but when I saw how they even turn diving into a business, it bothered me. I saw parents forcing their 12-year-old daughter to try diving. She was crying, didn’t want to do it, but the father insisted because it was paid for. I watched her struggle and feel uncomfortable. It saddens me to see that everything can be bought with money, and that’s just wrong.Guest review bySmile08Czech Republic - 10.0
