The stay at Jaz Amara exceeded our expectations! Everything was perfect. The staff is amazing, friendly, professional, attentive, always with the smile and make you feel like home. The food in all restaurants was delicious, offering a big variety of dishes for every taste. Room was spacious and super clean, everyday with a sweet decoration.. Facilities were great - pool area, also for kids and the beach everything we needed. It was the perfect place for relaxed vacation.

For meit was the second stay in this absolutely amazing hotel, Guido joined me this time. The colours, the serenity, the library and the beautifull botanic garden grabs you. Mindblowing. The table serverd authentic Egyptian food was so delicious. Don't worry if you travel on your own. You will be invited by the GM Moustafa Elkerdani to join dinner at the so callled communitytable and meet up with staf and other guests. Simply to let us have an splendid holiday. For sure a place to vistit again.....our next stay is already booked! As we are divers it was great that Emperor Divers new divecenter is located in this hotel. They offer a diversity of diving possibilities. Either housereef, nearby shorediving locations or with one of their boats. The breakfasts are very good and plentiful. If you have the slightest request, do not hesitate to talk to them because they make your life easier. Thanks to Mostafa, we were able to discover 2 incredible beaches with crystal clear water. Also, we went several times to the GOBUS agency to get our tickets to Cairo but without success. The latter was constantly closed. Mostafa called to have the agency open especially for us. Without his intervention, we would not have been able to purchase our tickets. The team is very cheerful and they will always do everything for your well-being. they are very helpful. We needed a hairdryer, Mostafa found one for us. Also, there is room service, which is very rare in Egypt, outside of resorts The place is very clean, very quiet, facing the beach and only 2 kilometers from the center. The bedding is exceptional. I recommend the place with my eyes closed following my experience.

    I recently stayed at Gemma's hotel, and one of the highlights of my stay was the food. The breakfast was excellent—rich, flavorful, and offered a wide range of options that left me more than satisfied each morning. Dinner was equally impressive, with a varied menu that catered to different tastes and provided a truly delightful dining experience. The quality and variety of the meals alone make this hotel a great choice for anyone who values good food during their stay. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making my stay even more enjoyable. I’d like to give special mention to Mr. Mahmoud, who went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant experience. We originally booked a standard room for myself and another for my family, but to our surprise, the hotel upgraded us to a suite for my family and a deluxe room for me. They even provided a beach umbrella at no extra cost, which was a thoughtful gesture. To top it all off, the hotel staff surprised me by celebrating my birthday with a cake, making the occasion truly memorable. Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations, especially with their outstanding service, generous upgrades, and personal touches that made our stay unforgettable.

    I travelled there alone looking for diving adventures! It was absolutly amazing. The whole place feels like a gigant family! The dive guides and personal are awsome! I would 100% recommend it when you are looking for a diving adventures and perfer a more quite acommodation to a big hotel. It feels like the people there really put there heart in the hotel and diving center. Also since you will dive with the other people in the hotel together it is only a matter of a few dives and you will get to know them. It didn't take long and everyone knew everyone. Dinner is also a time were people talked a lot to each other. Side note, personaly one of the best features was that there is no Wifi in the rooms only in the main building. This allowed me to really go offline, leave my everyday stress behind, have an amzing sleep and enjoy the stay.

    Having travelled extensively in my opinion the hotel offers excellent value for money given the great location , food and setup. What makes a place worth a 10 to me is when you have special requests or issues that the hotel responds well ,Akassia was EXCEPTIONAL in that department. Wael and Hani (in customer relations) went way beyond what you might ever expect to help arrange a special evening for my wife on our anniversary and to respond to some small issues I had with staff responses . These types of managers are rare and set the tone that the more junior staff follow.I would also like to mention Mahmood who oversaw the free snorkelling trip provided a very professional high quality service. Although you do get approached for trips etc the teams respect a simple no thank you which is very different from other experiences in Egypt.

The beach areas are beautiful, lots of space and privacy, access to the sea is fantastic and the sea itself with its unique marine life is a paradise. The food is excellent, lots of different dishes that we loved, international or local, a really great food experience, breakfast, lunch and dinner were just delicious. Than you very much to all the staff, for the kindness granted to us 24/7 and for making us feel at home. We loved every single aspect of our stay. Everything was outstanding. Simply PERFECT.     This is the perfect hotel for a weekend getaway in Marsa alam. The beach was great for snorkeling, there were so many colourful fish and coral reefs. The pools were warm and clean, and the animation team beside the pool would never leave you bored, they're always doing activities for adults and kids. food was very good, large varieties and even a gluten free corner. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Marsa alam!

    It was very close to the Abu Dabab beach, which was one of the best beaches I've ever been to, with amazing snorkelling, sunbathing and diving opportunities, and some nice bars to get some cold beers. The rooms were clean, cosy, and comfortable, and the area around was full of flowers and greenery, which gave such a nice feel to the place. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, always making sure we were ok, and the food in the restaurant was great. This place is great for SCUBA divers or people who like to spend most of their time by the ocean.

    Mr Hassan and his collegues from the reception, and also all the other employees at the resort, are very kind and friendly. Every time I'm there, they truly do their very best, to make my stay the most comfortable as possible. I love the spacious, comfortable and light rooms. It's very clean everywhere. The food is great. Fayrouz has a very nice house reef for snorkeling, and it's great that Marsa Mubarak is only 20 min walk away: this is a bay where there are big sea turtles. I keep coming back, and now my friends are too.

There are already so many wonderful things to do like snorkeling, diving, massages and especially the many activities offered by Captain Mahmoud's extraordinary team and the high quality shows performed in the evening. All the staff are adorable, attentive, attentive both on the beach and by the pool as well as in the various restaurants, not to mention the maintenance staff and gardeners, the cooks, the waiters (mention special for Ahzem from the main restaurant, Abd Allah at the pool restaurant, Mostafa who is part of Mahmoud's team, Hod Hod on the beach and many others of whom I don't really know the spelling of their first name. are all very courageous, with a sense of humor and kindness like I have rarely seen. Everything is put in place so that you only want to do one thing... come back as quickly as possible."

    The Alaya hotel guests has a private beach area at Coraya bay, my husband and I were given a lift there by a golf cart. Alaya staff greeted us at the beach area ,attending to our needs. providing beach chairs, umbrella and bar service . The swimming are is great, water is clean and warm. Snorkeling and scuba diving is available. I did snorkel and it was a great experience.

    Very quiet town, simple and the sea is amazing. You can swim anywhere. No so much facilities ( food places, supermarkets,..) and pharmacies located around hotels. Weather is hot, limited gas stations and road is not preferable to be taken at night.

    I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea...

    I love Marsa Alam and Abu Dabab most, as far as the Red Sea goes. My favourite place of all time is the Concorde Moreen Hotel, with the Hilton coming a strong second. We only ate at the hotels, because our time was limited. I used the taxi service offered online by Booking.com, which I found to be very efficient and reasonable. But I am also a seasoned traveller in Egypt and do not find it difficult to negotiate with taxi drivers. (It can be very useful to ask Chat GPT first what an average trip should cost you, if you are unsure, and then use that as a guideline for your negotiations.) It's an amazing experience to go out on a boat, but picking the right one can make the difference. I will be leaving my review on our experience separately (as it warrants a whole story on its own :))

    The sea was beautiful.

    The sea was beautiful. Unfortunately strong winds kept me from going into the sea. We stayed mostly in the lagoons. There was no access to sea from the beach, only from the pier. The life guards were good and attentive.

    Beach area we were in wasn't the greatest,no swimming area ,too shallow and rocky not sandy.Took quad ride out in desert was fun.Lots of fish to see on reefs,water very clean.marss Mubarak has resident dugong and turtles but didn't see the dugong on our visit.Overall nice place ,a bit on the windy side but nice relief from heat.

    I mentioned everything in my review, what I liked and didn’t like. Mainly, I noticed that someone bought a quad bike tour, and they were taken just a little way behind the hotel to ride on a pile of sand for a short while. There was trash and plastic all around, a complete wasteland—nothing pretty. I’m used to greenery, which I understand is lacking in this destination, but I definitely wouldn’t buy an overpriced camel or quad bike tour. Especially because, in that heat, it wouldn’t be an enjoyable experience for me, and with the trash around, definitely not. I did a diving trip, but it ended up being canceled. Unfortunately, they made us leave our things (like backpacks) in a place where locals were moving around, and we had no way to secure them. The original plan was that we would be on a boat. In the end, it didn’t happen, and that was probably for the best. I booked the trip through Booking. I had no particular expectations, even though we were supposed to see dolphins. Eventually, I arranged for diving, and I enjoyed it. Since I’m already a diver, it was easy, but when I saw how they even turn diving into a business, it bothered me. I saw parents forcing their 12-year-old daughter to try diving. She was crying, didn’t want to do it, but the father insisted because it was paid for. I watched her struggle and feel uncomfortable. It saddens me to see that everything can be bought with money, and that’s just wrong.

    The staff was nice , food was good,

    The staff was nice , food was good, No snacks between meals for kids around pools Just one place to bring towels in the section just couldn’t find one at aqua park Only one show at every night You could find 5 restaurants and it contains numerous kinds of food It’s nice place , many huge swimming pools
