We had an incredible experience at Spring Hotel Luxor for our honeymoon. We had a wonderful room with a gorgeous view and were treated so wonderfully. Private experiences in the area were arranged for us at such a reasonable price. Hot air ballooning, visiting the valley of the kings and temples, market visits, and more. Huge thank you to Mr. Ali who toured us around Luxor to the many sites. We are already planning to return and visit the friends we made while staying here! I promise if you visit, the lovely staff will be the highlight of your trip and you won't want to leave. We definitely didn't! Also, the restaurant had amazing food. Breakfast every morning with a view of the Nile and exceptional location close to the local ferry. We can't say enough positive things. The dinner we had our first night was our favourite meal in all of Egypt. One of my favourite parts of our experience was having tea every evening with Mr Mahmoud who owns the hotel. He always made time for us and made us feel special! His son, Mustafa and another young man Yousef took us sailing for a day we will never forget. They are such friendly and easy going young men. Abdel, who took the absolute best care of us possible, is an incredible person and went out of his way to ensure we had a wonderful holiday. We enjoyed spending our 5 days in Luxor with all of them. As wonderful as the physical hotel is, the people you will meet here are the best part of it all. We hope to be back ! :)

Spent two nights here more or less unplanned and were very satisfied and happy with it. The hotel manager arranged everything for us from bicycles, balloon trip to transfers for reasonable prices. So, great staff, nice pool, very close to Harbour.

The people are soooo nice! Helpful. They gave me the best driver, Mohammed, wonderful. Always on time, kind, perfect. Saeed from the hotel, perfect host. The property is clean, pretty, they have all their banana trees, fruit and veg garden, no chemicals. And although it’s not in Luxor, it is peaceful and quiet, and they can arrange a driver (no uber in Luxor) for a readonable price. Aggirdable hit air balloon ride can be arranged. Pretty swimming pool but of course in January it’s cold! But you can brave it as some did. Bed was comfortable. Slept very well. I would go back there if ever there again. The people in that village are the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Thanks to all for a most wonderful stay.

The hotel is very convenient to visiting Luxor, it is in great location on a quiet street. It is on the West bank of the Nile, very close to the main attractions, but East bank is also accessible easily by the ferry. Our room was very comfortable, staff very friendly and we had amazing food both for breakfast and dinner. I would recommend.

    Luxor sites are great must see for travelers who loves...

    Luxor sites are great must see for travelers who loves ancient Egyptian sites. Many beautiful experiences. But unless you've got the a full time tour/handler, be prepared for the endless stream of people looking to siphon some of your pocket and time. We're 'do it yourself' kind of travelers and did so without serious issue; It takes street smarts and awareness. People generally are kind and warm and Luxor has a lot to offer. A driver/guide is essential for the West Bank sites though, many things to navigate and difficult without someone versed in the area and processes.

    Just a great city to visit

    Just a great city to visit All monuments ,valley of the kings,temples are all close by The people are great as well You do get the hassle But then you get that where ever you go I get to meet all sorts of people and nationalities Achti used to belong to the Sheraton group The standards have not changed in all the years I’ve been coming Look for mr zakaria in the restaurant he is very helpful with anything you need he speaks good English

    I really enjoyed seeing various monuments and then relaxing...

    I really enjoyed seeing various monuments and then relaxing at my hotel. Most of the monuments are very close to where you'd be staying - which is really pleasant. There are several very reasonable tour operators and always lots of availability, during the off season. I recommend going between June - December, as there's more availability and it's not crowded.
