- From £30.55 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 290 reviewsA fantastic location set in the heart of a forest with rustic cottages adding to the back to nature feeling. Our family party included several young children and there was lots of nearby outdoor play activities which they loved. The overall sense of safety and space increased the enjoyment immensely. The facilities and activities were great, we used the sauna, the BBQ area, archery and lake swimming. The staff were brilliant, always friendly and helpful. On top of all this the cost was extremely reasonable. Everyone loved their time here and had nothing but positive feedback and wanted to return next year.Guest review byJaakUnited Kingdom
- From £98.95 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,220 reviewsFirst of all I want to express my compliments to the friendly and communicative staff. The girls are proud of their house and know how to feel people welcome. They are very easy going and helpful. The hotel has got only seven rooms. The wooden building is one of the oldest in Tartu and hosts exhibitions by local artists in a freely accessible gallery on the ground floor. Breakfast buffet was small, but there were several choices to make everybody happy. The apple juice is amazing. My room was is the upper floor with a beautiful view on the garden and the neighborhood.Guest review byTomasItaly

The location is stunning – peaceful, elegant, and full of charm, with beautiful architecture and a warm, almost royal atmosphere. Everything was spotless, and the attention to detail truly exceeded my expectations. The host was exceptional – kind, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to every guest’s needs. I didn’t just feel like a guest, I felt truly cared for. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, peace, and authentic hospitality. I will definitely return!Guest review byAlinaRomania
- From £52.08 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 147 reviewsThe owner is very nice and helpful, the room was very clean and super cozy and the manor has a unique and very pleasant atmosphere. There is a very well equipped, spatious and cozy kitchen. We used the hotel as a base for bike trips around. The area was great for that because it was very beautiful and there were almost no cars on the roads.Guest review byInsa Ingeborg CharlotteLatvia

The hostess was great.
The hostess was great. They provided additional information regarding a tour of the castle and the area. The breakfast menu was provided the evening before and it was extensive. I checked off just about everything on offer and then worried it would be too much, but the portions were adjusted accordingly, and thus I was delighted to have been able to taste all of what was offered. As for the area...restful.Guest review byJAANCanada - 10.0

This can be dubbed the garden town of Estonia (which in itself could be named the garden country of Europe). Every detached house has an immaculate garden with lots of flowers in the summer and the town government does not save pennies on making streets floral and beautiful. There are small and larger forests in the neighbourhood and there are two small beaches bordering natural lakes in the town centre. For those looking for vibrant nightlife, this is not the place to be. From Elva you can take the train or bus to Tartu from the 19th century wooden train station. In the other direction, the train goes to Valga from where you can travel onwards into Latvia. Overall, i would think that 3 days is about right to explore Elva (and its excellent small scale restaurants) and the surroundings.Guest review byLeoDCBelgium - 10.0
Everything was just wonderful!
Everything was just wonderful! It's a nice and quiet place, great for stopping by after a long ride. All the facilities are great and the rooms are cosy and comfortable. The place is a walking distance away from the lake, which offers a great view. I would 100% reccomend this place!!! :)Guest review byLolitaLatvia - 10.0
Literally gorgeous, such a hidden gem!
Literally gorgeous, such a hidden gem! It is mainly a student city and I was there for a conference, so I got the full academic vibes, but the town itself is beautiful! The centre is almost exclusively very aesthetically pleasing neo-classical architecture, there are many café and restaurant options around, and the locals are kind and welcoming. It really feels like a city that is proud of itself and its heritage, and is happy to show it!Guest review byMargaritaSweden - 10.0

Pretty, friendly city, lively on a Satruday evening due to its large student population. Plenty of history and architecture to see, lots of scuptures and other art. Boat trip on river, lots of riverside bars and music.Guest review byS RUnited Kingdom
