Great and big room. Very comfortable and silent room with everything a person needs. The breakfast had a good variety of food and it was great. Most comfortable beds in Germany so far! Very unique old house, looking directly onto the river. Beautiful views out of every window. We were there during the Christmas market and the entire town was magical. A short walk down a fairly steep cobblestone road and we were at the market. Excellent location. It even snowed, making the experience perfection!

However, the best thing was that I had an accident on the 2nd night and they helped call the ambulance, got a chair from their offices so that I can sit and be pushed out since there were no wheel chairs, and was willing to be helpful if needed.     We were there on Unity Day so none of the shops were open,...

    We were there on Unity Day so none of the shops were open, we did see the Cathedral which was well worth the visit as it was magnificent. Closest parking lot is Conti Park which is right beside the cathedral, we popped up a set of steps from the garage and there we were, right in front of it, parking was only 5 euros

    Duesseldorf is an amazingly beautiful city.

    Duesseldorf is an amazingly beautiful city. If you like to party it is obviously good for that as well since the bar scene seems to go all night long during the week. I'm no longer into the bar scene I just know that when I had to leave at 3am to catch my flight they were all still going strong on a Tuesday night. Besides that the architecture and the river scenes are amazing!!!

    Checked in on the Friday and visited the Signal Iduna Park for their game against Leverkusen,then visited the zoo on Saturday and spent Sunday walking around the centre and the national football museum. Everyone is friendly and getting around is easy with the tubes and buses.

    Great exhibition halls at Messe Essen, for annual classic car show. Shopping is good with large shopping centre in town. Lots of restuarants and eating places. Dusseldorf within travelling distance and airport easily reached.

    Bonn has not been bombed during WWII, therefore it has the largest well-conserved late 19th century urban area in Germany (Suedstadt). To be mentioned also, the Poppelsdorf Schloss and its wonderful restaurant situated within the Botanical Garden, the Poppelsdorfer Allee and the beautiful Rhine promenade in easy reach.

    Wonderful-sized city with leafy cycle paths and walkways, streams and the lake, plus beautiful architecture, friendly residents and some great food, including delicious Italian ice-cream.     We were overwhelmed by the splendour of the cathedral, and delighted by the new Charlemagne centre. Had there been more time we would have explored the city's history as displayed in the centre. The shops - both conventional and tourist-oriented - are excellent. There are many and various places for a coffee, drink or snack as well as good restaurants.

    Landschaft park is brilliant.. free and very interesting...history of the blast furnace and you can climb all over it... Nice that they preserve such an historical site. A big shopping centre (Forum) with some really good places to eat. We are in Asia in the Forum... great value for money (19 eur for 2 meals) and another day we ate from the kebab shop opposite the Asia... Both times, excellent food and reasonably priced.

    Don’t expect a regular hotel, this is a ground floor 2 bed apartment which we were unaware of when we booked….however it ticked all our boxes for an overnight stay. No complaints here. Overall a good apartment with extras.
