    Breakfast was delicious and so very beautifully presented. Lots of choice and delicacies to sample. Coffee was excellent too. We had a room with a garden view on first floor which was quiet and peaceful. The staff were all very hospitable and helpful. We spoke only basic German but most were fluent in English. We were delighted to be offered a drink and snack on our arrival, lovely touch. Facilities were excellent, clean and well maintained. Excellent convenient location away from the harbor noise and ferry terminal, but only a 5-7 minute walk to old town. We did not have an opportunity to enjoy a dinner/meal at the hotel restaurant, next time!

    Best breakfast I had in a hotel and best hotel spa I visited during my long life. Huge choice of vegetables, including fresh avocado, cheeses, dairy, breads, etc, excellent coffee. Clean room, comfortable bed, swimming pool with view of the lake. Not crowded at all. Helpful staff. Only wish we stayed for longer than 1 night.

    This was the best hotel my wife and I ever stayed at! Breakfast and dinner is included in the price. The food was amazing; especially the breakfast. Next, we had the junior suite and it was comfortable, spacious, and had two bathrooms. FYI, there are no kids allowed here due to some pool areas people are allowed to be naked.

    The church in front of the hotel rings its bells every 15 minutes, from 6 AM to 10 PM, creating a lot of noise. The hotel does not have air conditioning, so it was warm during our stay, and opening the windows only increased the noise. Additionally, there was no hair dryer and fridge in the room. The hotel's location is not very close to the city center but close to public transport.

    We loved Heidelberg!

    We loved Heidelberg! It felt like we were transported in time to something we can’t experience too often in the United States.     The experience of visiting Karsluhe during X mas time is magical. Make sure check out all X mas markets, including Children's market where the characters of fairy tales come "alive". The main town square is a huge X mas town. I would advise to see the market during daytime and evening when the lights make everything so beautiful. There were different festive areas in the city, including big skating ring, with lots of lights. Make sure check city's website about X mas markets.

    Wonderful picturesque town, in particular impressive the "Fischer Viertel" (fisherman's quarter) full of colorful houses which appear to have given in to the weight of time by skewing the orthogonality of their construction.     Definitely recommend to take the tram for sightseeing. The tram tickets are easily obtainable at the vendor machines at almost every Haltestelle for everyone’s convenience. Hop on and hop off as you please, there is plenty to see. To me, the central city cobblestone streets with the tram passing through reminded me of Bulgarian capital city of Sofia very much. Worth a visit!

    Rust is nice when you want to go to Europa Park.

    Rust is nice when you want to go to Europa Park. Other friends of mine prefer Ringsheim because it’s cheaper, but i walk to Europa Park, eat fruhstuck at the bakery, and i can drink beer or wine without having to drive my car, because it is at the pension. Also saves you 10 - 15 euro per day!

    I only stayed 1 night, as a stop on my way to Italy. Lovely city, I will for sure go back (and likely tour the whole lake). Only downside is to get there: roads were packed as hell, with lots of traffic jams. Much like the Italian lakes.

    Baden-Baden is worth a couple of days if you want to see the original European spa town, on the edge of the Black Forest. Two thermal spas dominate the town. There are good rail connections: we came from Munich with one brief change for a 3-hour total journey; there is a 1.5 hour direct train to the Frankfurt airport, which makes Baden-Baden convenient for those using Condor or other Frankfurt-based airlines.
