    Good breakfast, all fresh and served warm at the table. The location is perfect both for skiers as well as for bikers, hikers or runners. All trails and ski areas very closed to the hotel and it is easy to plan various distance loops.

    It is a nice city with a very nice network of bike roads...

    It is a nice city with a very nice network of bike roads around. Also the history around was interesting (Komensky in Brandys n. Labem, Diviš in Žamberk). Orlické hory are nice mountains and they are not far; they can be reach on a bike or by car.

    Pastviny is a nice small city with a lake where you can do some water sports like swimming, standup paddleboarding or riding pedal boats. There is a good restaurant near the bridge. Although we stayed in Pastviny we made excursions from there eg. the famous attraction of Sky bridge is half and hour driving from there.

    We went there in autumn so not main holiday periods and thus no cycling or skiing, rather beautiful nature and tranquillity. In surrounding there is museum of Czech fortification (Hanička), interesting church with glass ceiling in Neratov. For eating we can recommend fresh pasta concept kiosk Špagetka in Pěčín.

    I used Zamberk rather as a logistic point with infrastructure (bus station, train station, supermarket, restaurant, accommodation) to make hiking trips in the surroundings. The town looked nice but I had unfortunately no time left to check it a bit more.
