- From US$106.60 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 1,514 reviewsLoved my stay at this hotel. The room was large with lots of natural light and warm and cosy. The bed are super comfortable. Lovey big bathroom with nice products. Fridge in the room. The breakfast was fabulous. All the usual suspects and more. The bar with circular fire place was a standout for me. Very atmospheric and relaxing during a cold and rainy stay. Unfortunately due to the rainy weather and heavy cloud cover, I did not get to see the view of the volcano from the hotel. The decor of the hotel is very nice. Refined muted tones accented with local art, historic photographs and beautiful floral arrangements. Everything was super clean and tidy. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is a short walk from the town CBD which has loads of restaurants, cafes, craft shops and lots of adventure shops. My friend used the indoor heated pool which she said was good.Guest review bySusantravelsAustralia
- From US$170 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 3,954 reviewsAn exceptional experience. We had a eco cabin which had a tremendous view of the lake and volcanoes. The cabin was spacious and modern. The fitness centre was a bonus and we also used the pool which has a similar view. Carlos at the desk was most helpful in booking day trips and other information. The hotel restaurant is high standard. Breakfast has a good choice buffet. Its a short walk to the lakeside restaurants and the town. The cabins are surely the best place to stay in Puerto Varas.Guest review byRoyUnited Kingdom

Highly recommended.Guest review byKarineFrance

We wanted to have two full days in PV.
We wanted to have two full days in PV. We made the right decision. First day we went to fruitillas for half day. Nice place for some hours. there is e nice theatre there. If you want to visit for a show, you will need to book in advance. Second day was sunday and we booked to trip to the volcanos and waterfalls and beautiful turquoise lake. This was a good choice as sunday most was closed.Guest review byJasnaSuriname - 10.0

This is a small town with a character of its own, in between volcanoes with an amazing landscape, huge beach with great view of Osorno Volcano, its the beggining of the biggest and oldest National Park in Chile "Parque Nacional Vicente Perez Rosales". I f you want adventure there is a big variety of options for you to pick, from Rafting the Petrohue River ( best companies are Ko Kayak, Nomada, River Friends), hijing up the Volcano with Terrasur Adventure, discovering the park trails, visiting Cascadas town, or adventuring further till the begining of the fiord to Ralun town. If you are keen to discover you will find so much.Guest review byFernandaChile - 10.0

The town itself is fine, with a wealth of chocolate shops and touristy shopping. The reason you have to go there, though, is the stunningly beautiful nature near the town. The landscape with its lakes, islands, and mountains is among the most beautiful I've ever seen.Guest review byJoergGermany - 10.0

There is more rain than England and that is saying something. The scenery is spectacular and there are lots of tours you can go on. To keep things cheap, use the local buses as they are frequent and reliable.Guest review bySaffronUnited Kingdom - 10.0
The town and Bariloche and the surrounding area are real...
The town and Bariloche and the surrounding area are real worth the trip. The circuit of the 7 lakes, with the amazing vistas at every step, the many waterfalls and hiking trails, the lake beaches, the wildflowers, you could stay in the area for months and not get bored if you love the outdoors. And even if you're not the most avid outdoors person here you can become one. Don't need to think much about where to go, just pick a place, cause you won't be disappointed :) The food is good, the chocolate and ice cream amazing, and people are nice and welcoming. Be careful when driving though, there are many speed restrictions in the town and even outside, and it's easy to get a speeding ticket (fortunately we were warned as soon as we got there). And on the winding roads in the mountains there could be cows or horses walking freely. So be mindful of your surroundings and pay attention to the speed limit.Guest review byJaincityCanada - 8.0
A very jolly town, clearly doing quite well.
A very jolly town, clearly doing quite well. All the locals we spoke to were friendly and helpful, particularly the tourist Info in centre of town. We rented a car for a couple of days from Morris at Sur Car Rental, hilarious and good value. Mi gusto Puerto Varas!Guest review byKing-LewisUnited Kingdom
