Very welcoming and helpful staff. I would especially like to mention the following hotel employees: Lawrence, Julietta, Fabio, Bogdan and Adi. Magnificent view from the room to the lake. The room is comfortable. An unforgettable magic experience of visiting a Japanese restaurant Minamo with a chef Yutaka Kobayashi. Every dish was like a piece of art. Definitely come back again and will recommend to the friends.

I booked this for my daughter and her partner. She also stayed at the Waldorf Versaille which actually had fireworks that she could see from her room overlooking the palace. The front desk service is good, and the restaurant and bar service is also nice and friendly. The breakfast is very rich with lots of choices. The hotel has the potential of 5 stars quality. I am very satisfied with this hotel experience. It is like a miniature tour. You can enjoy the panoramic view of Lucerne in all directions in the hotel. The location is very good. It takes less 20 minutes from the train station to the hotel. You can take the cable car from Gutsch bus stop directly to the hotel.

    This hotel ia lovely and cosy. For whom is in weggis a must to stay in the hotel. The team is very accomodating. My suggestion a room with a mountain view would definately help with your stay be more relaxed. The hotel has a nice comfy restaurant with mountain views. You can see and view the mountains will grabbing a breakfast or dinner. We all enjoyed and honestly if i had to return back indeed this is the place i would return too.

    If you want to stay here, choose a lake view room - you won't regret that. Stunning lake with hills and coves will please your eyes every time you look out the window. Ducks and other birds often play just outside. The reception staff provide guests with a free of charge bus passes for the duration of their stay, which I think is a citywide policy to boost tourism, and very convenient as there is a bus stop just outside.

    Honestly this was one of the prettiest towns I’ve ever visited. The architecture is amazing, the nature is stunning. The clothing shops are so nice. That being said, it’s also one of the most expensive towns I’ve ever been to. All the other places we visited in Switzerland were less expensive. Still, totally worth it. 3- 4 nights is probably enough.

    Ok so, Weggis is a beautiful little village but that is also it's problem, it's a little village. Activities were limited and so were the restaurants. I would recommended staying there as a "base" but then exploring the surrounding attractions.

    Sursee is a stunningly beautiful town with charming old houses, a picturesque Old Town, excellent restaurants, a castle, a creek, and nearby lake. As a family, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.     A beautiful city to relax in.

    A beautiful city to relax in. I am amazed the population is only 80,000 people! One of the buskers had a super voice and and was playing an unusual zither. I recommend putting your camera away and looking with your eyes, listening with your ears and feeling with all of your senses, otherwise how can you truly experience this place?

    Booked room with a mountain view.

    Booked room with a mountain view. However, on reaching the property, upgraded to Lake view at a cost of CHF 20 per day. Room had amazing view of Lake and hills. Property is located in Weggis and is easily accessible from Boat and bus ( Frequency of 30mins to 60mins). Town is very peaceful and one can enjoy beautiful walk around the lake. Property has fitness centre, spa and swimming pool which are maintained properly. Had an amazing experience staying at this property.

    If you are umming and ahhing about going, just go. I've seen a review saying it was crowded, but October 2023 it was not, it was very quiet so if you want a bustling vibe it's not for you! I think in summer it may be more of a popular spot.

    Very pleasant and helpful staff, clean rooms, comfy beds and pillows to top off our stay, room view was spectacular. Location accessible to all town attractions.Hotel made best lattes and great selection of breakfast!!!

    The views of the mountains around the lake are fantastic.

    The views of the mountains around the lake are fantastic. We ate in our hotel on both nights of our stay and the food and wine were fabulous. You can walk alongside the lake and there are several places to eat. We visited Mount Rigi which was busy but the 360 view at the top was wonderful. We went up in a cable car then railway then had an easy walk back down to the cable car station
