Easy, well lit entry. Contact was quick to respond.
Easy, well lit entry. Contact was quick to respond. Very private, extremely clean and welcoming. Little extras, water bottles available, lovely table set up, extra blankets really available. Bathroom very clean with heated floor.(room was cold when we arrived, but heated up using the gas fireplace and adjusting thermostat) Really enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend, will return.Guest review byLesiaCanada - 8.0
St. Jacob's is a gem.
St. Jacob's is a gem. We prefer visiting weekdays when it's quieter. Weekends can be pretty crowded. If you're interested in going to the market, check days and hours because they are not open every day. Lot's of great places to eat and drink. Something for everyone really.Guest review byMaryanne - 10.0

We have come for the Shakespear plays and musicals for almost 40 years. The Old English Parlour is a place we always go for a great supper. The suburban Motel is our new favorite place to stay and the Wild Hog Market, outside of town is a wonderful place for breakfast and coffee. There are many fine specialty shops in the old downtown area that reminds you of a traditional old European town center. The park along the river is a special place to walk and picnic and or tailgate prior to or after a play. The people are friendly and accommodating. The theatres are outstanding with wonderful acting companies. Be sure to take a backstage and or warehouse tour of the Festival Theater if you can. Artistic licence, in some cases, may be a little hard to relate to traditional Shakespeare, you need to have a vivid imagination sometimes. Well worth a vacation plan to visit Stratford and the theaters.Guest review byDavidUnited States - 10.0

Visited a new restaurant called Ward One Smokehouse & Brewery and it was great to say the least. The hotel I stayed at is close to gas stations, grocery store, Tim's restaurants. I come for the Ribfests in the summer, but there's places to go in winterGuest review byJamieCanada - 10.0

Beautiful beaches and sunsets are a must see. We also enjoyed the Behind the Bars tour of the Huron Historic Gaol, Steve and Mary's on the square for breakfast, the River Run restaurant for dinner and the arts and crafts festival on the square.Guest review byJacquelineCanada - 10.0

Beautiful Historic small town, with many things to see and do. The gorge is amazing, the Elora Mill, had amazing food, and there are many other choices, and varieites of food, including Indian, Seafood, Pub Style, as well as the Elora Brewing Company Restaurant & bar, with a large terrace out front, in the town for places to eat, many with great views of the Gorge. Also just outside town is the Fieldstone Barn, a lovely farm, which has Sun Flower Fields, Flower Gardens, Alpacas, a Corn Maze, and many unique things to see and do, the Elora Quarry is also stunning, just 3 min away, we attended my sons wedding at this lovely venue. We had a fantastic lunch overlooking the Grande river at The Cellar Pub and Grill, highly suggest the Mussells, and poutine, as well as the Pork Schnitzel as mouth watering food options, also a great Ceaser drink.Guest review byStephen SowsunCanada - 10.0

Very nice village and coast, we actually liked it better than Goderich (even if Goderich is a super nice town too) Main street is filled with friendly and nice places to hang out, eat and drink, the views of the lake are amazing, the marina is a great place to have a morning coffeeGuest review byMalloryUnited States - 8.0

It’s an older (perhaps built in 1970s) 2-floor property in a very small town along the highway between Kitchener And Stratford Ontario. As such their check in desk is stated to close at 11 pm so it is not suitable for people arriving late. The property is kept very clean and it provides good basic accommodations about 15 minutes drive from Stratford.Guest review byDavidCanada - 10.0

The town's commitment with regards to sports and recreation facilities including the incredible baseball fields, the water park at the quarry and the pathway is inspiring. The downtown beautification efforts just lends to the visual that tourists get when entering the area is something you should be very proud of.Guest review byDu Vall
