I had an exceptional experience at this hotel. The location is ideal—conveniently situated near key attractions, restaurants, and public transport, making it easy to explore the area.     Loved loved the location! Beautiful views from the room and porch. Loved that you included a free kayak rental which I took advantage of for over an hour on a clear calm morning. I kayaked all over the lake. Food in the restaurant was outstanding. I had the B.C. imported sable fish and my husband had the duck. Both were amazing. Our server was very friendly and gave us excellent service. She brought the chef out to meet us and we praised his culinary skills. He told us he had recently returned from working in Denmark at a two star Michelin restaurant. I would eat at his restaurant again and again! We hope to return to the resort with our kids and grandkids some time. I would definitely recommend this lodge to everyone wanting to take advantage of privacy in a tourist town. Perfect time to visit seemed to be at end of summer season, as crowds were minimal and fall colors were gorgeous! Hike to the top of the mountain in back was challenging but well worth it when we got to the top overlooking the town and surrounding lakes and mountains.

The cabins were perfect, the facilities were outstanding and we loved our spot with the fire pits and picnic table right outside our doorstep. Our children gravitated to the games room and pool.     Great!! I had a riverfront cabin. Roasting marshmallows in my own firepit watching the Athabasca river flow by was so calming and lovely. Comfy and huge bed and a range of pillows from soft to hard. Food was very good. Everyone super nice and helpful.

    Swimming in the river Day trip to Banff and visiting the hot springs Visited The Farmyard Escape city to do an escape room The length of the freight trains I counted 103 carriages cirque du Soleil was in Calgary so we went it was amazing Calgary Zoo particularly the penguins Heritage Park got to ride in a steam train the dressed up characters were great great food & drinks on 17th street Weather was gorgeous last day there was some fog from the wild fires

    Banff was a great a place to shop but parking was a problem though I had a handicapped sign. The 9 hour tour we took in a 14 passenger van was wonderful. It is a beautiful park. I would recommend the Viator tour. We did hike the Hoodoo Trail near our Banff rocky Mountain resort and enjoyed Canmore, too as we are skiers. The Legacy bike trail was amazing though we did not bring our bikes this time.

    The city is not the most beautiful.

    The city is not the most beautiful. Many areas in it feel like industrial. We stayed 3 days in this city, and besides Waterpark and museum, there was nothing that caught our interest. The downtown was grey and empty.

    Jasper is a great place to visit with lots of activities in around the town. Whilst it was badly affected by the wildfire in 2024 and you obviously still see the effects of this around the area, the town is very much open as are most tourist attractions and we should all support them.

    Hinton is a better place to stay if you are visiting the mountains, Jasper accommodation is very expensive, Hinton is not as gay as Jasper, a good town with good people, Jasper is overly gay, woke and expensive. many choices for food and restaurant, you have all good stores to buy anything you need.

    I paid nearly $800 per night expecting a quiet, nature-focused stay, as advertised on the hotel’s website. Instead, I was first given a noisy room, and then moved to another that smelled strongly of bleach and had a broken window. Despite my allergy, no alternative room was offered. The bleach fumes caused severe headaches that required painkillers, and by the second day, ants had entered the room. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and far from worth the price.

    This isn't really a fair question.

    This isn't really a fair question. Lethbridge was home to me for most of my life until I moved away 18 years ago. We came back to celebrate my 80th birthday with family and friends and spent the week visiting with so many of them. It really was coming home and I enjoyed every minute. I wholeheartedly recommend Lethbridge - there is lots to do even though we didn't really "do" much given the purpose of our visit. Paradise Canyon was a great home base for us.

    I loved walking the blocks around the Villa, with many new shops and services, and a revitalized vintage feel. There were places to shop and eat, though we were there on a Monday morning when most were closed. There are several beautiful old churches to admire, and a striking new city hall.
