Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially the manager (Danny) and the restaurant staff. Thankfully they spoke some English! The hotel is situated on a pedestrianised, tree-lined street, which was surprisingly quiet during our stay (14-19 June '23). The restaurant terrace overlooks tall green trees, with lots of birdsong, giving it a rural feel. We enjoyed the tranquillity of this hotel's location, though some may find the small town of Kavarna just too quiet and uneventful. For those seeking sea and sand, it's 5-minute drive from the local beaches, a good 25 minutes' walk (and uphill coming back). We took a taxi to Cape Kaliakra, definitely worth a visit (make sure you use sun screen and take a hat, as there's very little shade and it's quite windy). Kaliakra is too far to walk from Kavarna, especially as it's along a main road without pavements. Back to the hotel. Our room was spacious, light and comfortable. The beds were OK, though a little softer than we like. The hotel and restaurant were impeccably clean and tastefully decorated/furnished. We had several evening meals in the restaurant, as the food is good and fairly priced. Breakfast (included in our package) was tasty and filling - brilliant omelettes! Also, the home-made carrot cake is superb.

    The location is incredible—perched on the Kavarna Hills with amazing sea views. The gardens are really well looked after, full of flowers, and the whole place feels calm and peaceful. Staff were genuinely kind and professional. I really enjoyed the food—Geti is great for a finer dining, while Argata has a more relaxed, beachy vibe. I’ve been to a lot of places, and it’s rare I have nothing to complain about—but Thracian Cliffs honestly left me impressed especially given it was not even high season and we don’t play golf.

    I am surprised by the location - mountain and sea - an incredible combination. An incredible calm is felt in the complex. The staff is smiling, friendly, always at the service of the customer. We had rented a room for one night, but we liked it so much that we extended our stay for another night. All inclusive is amazing, very rich and varied food, there is food and drinks for every taste. The rooms are spacious and very clean. It is worth visiting the complex and you will not regret it.

    It's a great place to visit for a chill vaycay.

    It's a great place to visit for a chill vaycay. Aside from the unique setting there are less points if interest than expected. The palace and it's gardens was great and huge, you should set aside an entire day for it if you plan to see it. The beach was okey, the main one is on the smaller side, it's in a janky area aswell but it was not overcrowded. There was also an odd tiny beach but we didn't go there. It seemed terrible to be honest. A road between the sand and the water and a strip of rock and gravel between the road and water. Have transport if you are staying further into the town. The whole place is on a series of steep hills, that is a lot of upward walking in the blistering heat.

    Kranevo is a lovely place, you can park at the beach so, if you have mobility issues you can still get into the sea. Restaurants on the beach are clean and very good value for money. The beach is level and very good for children as it is shallow for a long way out.

    Kavarna is a little town, if you like big really crowded places maybe this one is not for you. Plenty of places and things to do in the area, lovely beaches and natural beauty. Nice bars and restaurants in the center of the town, food and value for the money is perfect. You will need a car to travel around to see things, not that far away from Kavarna is a mussel farm and restaurant, snail farm and restaurant, vineyard and orchards where you can buy fresh apple juice.

    The beach is very nice and cleen I stayed at Flamingo Grand Hotel fot 7 nights And that was ok.but the staff should have smiie more. Thei make very good pizza all over the place. It is easy to travel around Albena For me was very nice to go to Varna and Dobrich.

    It has a good position, close to Balcik, Kavala, and Cape Kaliakra. We loved the cuisine in the area, especially the Snail Farm restaurant, the Mussles Farm restaurant, and Balcon del Mundo. People are more friendly here than in other areas in Bulgaria.

    The best hotel is the Ibiza Hotel.

    The best hotel is the Ibiza Hotel. To have dinner I recommend Mozzarella pizza restaurant, Uno Restaurant. You should visit Staria Dobrich and try Gevrek. You should have a walk inside of the great park. It is a very small city everywhere is very close to each other.

    If you need to be alone with your thoughts, just wander along the deserted shore, look at the sea from the high shore - Shabla is perfect for these purposes. A small resort town, without any special attractions. Not far from it there is a beautiful lighthouse, an ancient cave city, and just a sandy beach where there are not very many people.

    Ezerets is a village a few km away from the shore. It has a few tavernas where you can eat or enjoy a coffee, a couple of supermarkets, several options for accommodation. There was a jazz festival there when we went, we really enjoyed it.

    We have been in Balchik many times and we come back always...

    We have been in Balchik many times and we come back always with pleasure. This place is quiet, uncrowded and offers excellent conditions for relax and stay. Usually, we stay at Maria Palace, a very nice and elegant place. Many times, we have the lunch or dinner at La Terrassa restaurant just in front of the hotel, on the beach. Of course, we are eating especially sea food. For sun bath we always go at Albena, under 10 minutes by car.
