How often do you get to stay at a tower, where you have your own golf cart at your disposal? We stumbled upon La Folie for our stay in Modave and did not regret. The decor takes you back a couple hundred years in time while still having a modern touch and offering all the necessary amenities. We were surprised at how well equipped the seemingly small tower is. The complementary bubbles were delicious and the peace and quiet wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. There is a supermarket a 10 minute walk from the estate where you can stock up on food and beverages.

    We mostly walked around the area.

    We mostly walked around the area. There are lots of walking paths and breath taking views all around. Since it was Christmas time we took the car and went to the Durbuy Christmas market. We mostly ate at home since we were a group of 10 people and we do enjoy a glass of wine which is safer to do at home and everybody had a specail dinner, lunch or breakfast to prepare. Lots of fun and relaxation in a cozy place.
