- From £103.29 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,025 reviewsBreakfast was great, staff were super nice. We were staying here for a local wedding so it was very convenient. A local bus takes you into central Antwerp. During our stay we had a medical emergency with our baby and the staff were amazing at supporting us and going above and beyond to take as much stress out of the situation as they could - we really appreciated it.Guest review byAliciaUnited Kingdom

Large rooms with balcony, very comfortable beds. The highlight is the in-house spa with sauna and pool. Breakfast left nothing to be desired. Lier is a lovely town, the streets are clean and quiet.
Lier is a lovely town, the streets are clean and quiet. There is a lot of history here and the canals and waterways are very beautidul. There is something for everyone, the town square is surrounded by good restaurants, the buildings are interesting and full of history. If you like walking or cycling there are plenty of well marked trails and an abundance of wildlife in the rivers and canals. You can take a boat trip in the old flat bottomed eel boatsand the guides are very knowledgable and interesting. There are good transport links witht he station being on the edge of town, just a 15 minute walk into the centre. The town Hall is a beautiful building. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. We will be coming back.Guest review byRos - 10.0

Brasschaat has great dog walking places which is convenient since we always travel with our dog, it has a classy residential hub, calm and peaceful, and it is still near to the city of Antwerp, making it easy to visit the old city or have business events.Guest review byYvetteSwitzerland - 10.0
Geel has a rich and varied history.
Geel has a rich and varied history. There was fierce World War Two fighting here a prelude to the massive Airborne operation, the subject of the film "A Bridge too Far". On the other hand the town pioneered the care of the mentally ill in the community as opposed to institutions about 150 years ago. Also has great restaurents around the town square.Guest review byanthonyCanada - 10.0
Every time I go to B&B Droomzoet it is way to short.
Every time I go to B&B Droomzoet it is way to short. I am either passing through or stopping over from one of my many adventures through Europe, it is always a pleasure to see Isle & Peter. Seems like I have know them for years but I have only visited them on two occasions one just before Christmas last year and one a couple of days ago. This time I brought my friend with me to enjoy the experience and it was a sheer joy to come back and share it with him, as always Isle & Peter were the perfect hosts, didn't put a foot wrong and were happy to chat whenever they had time. The sheer beauty of the surrounding is heavenly if you want some peace and quiet from the busy lifestyle if only for a short break. Can't wait for my next visit to see Isle & Peter again.Guest review byNicholasUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Stayed for a nearby football tournament. Friendly, immaculate town with a really nice hotel in which we stayed. A couple of good coffee houses and a good supermarket. I'm sure there's more to it, but we were there for the football.Guest review bymichaelUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Kasterlee is a wonderful little town, with all the facilities you could want within approx 200m from the property. There is a Spar for any shopping you may want. There are several coffee shops, bakery, two fast food outlets, Fruthoek near the railway crossing is highly recommended and a great bar In Den Drietip, serving over 100 different Belgian beers.Guest review byCUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lier is a very pretty town with an interesting history and it is only a 20 minute train ride away from Antwerp. It is easy to walk between the various sites like the town hall and the beginnage and the Great Church. There was a small museum near to my hotel with some history and art related to the town that I also thought was interesting. The town arose because of the river around it which still flows through and is very prettyGuest review byDaniel - 6.0

Turnhout is pleasant enough, but not the most interesting place in Belgium. The town centre is walkable but there isn’t a lot to see. There are a lot of vacant shops and the commercial centre looks like it’s not doing too well. The train service to Antwerp and Brussels is OK. The highlights are the playing card museum, the main square, the castle and the churches. To be honest, I don’t know why anyone would visit Turnhout unless you had something specific to do there, as I had. Last year I was in Leuven, which is well worth a visit.Guest review byJohnIreland - 10.0

A really beautiful little town, lots of lovely walks, superb and historic architecture. Shops, cafes and restaurants with friendly and welcoming residents. Plenty of public transport, buses, trains and taxis to take you around the region or in to the cities. Very bicycle friendly if that is what you prefer.Guest review byChristineUnited Kingdom
