- From £106.54 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,234 reviewsLovely clean accommodation, and perfectly located for access to Philip island. We could see kangaroos from our apartment in the morning. We had the park outside our back doors so the kids could run and play as soon as they were up. We had tea/coffee and hot choc in the room that went down well. Really enjoyed our stay and would love to go back one day.Guest review byJasonUnited Kingdom

Loved the trees and plants around the house, it was very warm and cosy, kitchen facilities were great and house was spacious. We very much enjoyed our stay. Just needs a little bit more lighting for reading, but overall it was a wonderful place to get away.Guest review byJennyAustralia - 10.0

Heaps of cafes and restaurants, shopping all walking distance from beach front walks, train station short walk. Great night life considering it was just a normal weekend in winter. Every part of Geelong we saw was very clean and maintained, great place to walk and relax.Guest review byDennisAustralia - 10.0

I really loved looking out for whales, and our gorgeous hot springs visit on our winter trip. The hot springs were a little crowded though - less people per session would really have helped me relax more.Guest review byTatianaAustralia - 10.0
A good stopping point on a trip along the Great Ocean Road.
A good stopping point on a trip along the Great Ocean Road. Not as expensive, pretentious or busy in winter as Lorne is. Great fish and chips at the Fishman's Co-op., which was not too busy in winter but would be very hectic in summer of holiday periods. This is an attractive seaside town with good facilities and choice of food establishments. Worth a visit.Guest review byMrs PicklesAustralia - 10.0
A great range of places to visit !
A great range of places to visit ! Rio Vista is a time capsule of living in the past and well worth the visit. The Botanical Gardens were a lovely place to walk and enjoy native plants as well as examples from other continents. The map was easy to follow. It would be even more spectacular in Spring . Walking by the Murray was very tourist friendly- great paths and excellent cafe. A great range of take away foods are available if you don't want to eat out . Delicious food from the Afghan Grill, Bakery and other Cafes Red Cliffs was worth the drive too !Guest review byElizabeth - 10.0
Bright is picturesque and one of my favourite places to...
Bright is picturesque and one of my favourite places to visit any time of the year. You can hire bikes (or bring your own) and ride the rail trail which mostly follows the river meandering alongside bush and farmlands. Mount Buffalo is close by for fantastic views, great bushwalks (outside of winter) and the beautiful old Chalet (currently closed but due to reopen in 2026). In winter you can also cross-country ski and toboggan at Mt Buffalo. The ski fields of Mt Hotham and Falls Creeks are just over an hour away. The canyon walk in the centre of Bright is beautiful and if you are lucky you can catch a glimpse of a platypus. There are a good range of restaurants, cafes & pubs and lots of gorgeous shops to browse - my favourites are Winding Road Design Studio and Bowerbird. If you have kids there is one of the best playgrounds and water play areas right on the river. All in all, Bright is fantastic - we have had many holidays there over the last 25 years and will keep returning as we love it so much. Each time we return we always find something a bit different to do, see or explore.Guest review byAnonymousAustralia - 10.0

Having resided in Shepparton thru the 1970 -1990 period it was great to revisit. Shepparton has always been a progressive Town, and this appears to have remained. There are lots of venues to visit and the dining opportunities are excellent.Guest review byMichaelAustralia
