- From £111.05 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.4Good - What previous guests thought, 1,173 reviewsThe breakfast was excellent, the Rooms quite large with a great outlook. We liked the Olive Grove rooms personally, they looked out onto greenery, pool and sometimes where the kangaroos gathered. Location was pretty good with many vineyards around. However, driving was very easy. Nice to be able to walk to their restaurant or to 4 Pines across the road. Nice pool.Guest review byJudyNew Zealand

Never a let down.
Never a let down. Love the Saturday markets and chocolate factory. We only buy our honey from the markets from Locals plus many more goodies. The wineries are great we go to a different one every time we started with a once a year trip to the hunter valley we now visit 3 times a year and love each season differently..Guest review byGulsahAustralia - 10.0

The hotel seems to have been recently renovated, and all the facilities exceeded our expectations. The coffee machine was a great bonus! It’s an ideal choice for family trips, and its location makes visiting nearby wineries very convenient. Situated right in the heart of Maitland, the hotel is surrounded by shopping, dining, and leisure options. The riverside walkway was perfect for morning and evening dog walks. We stayed with our pet, and the pet fee was very reasonable. Overall, a fantastic experience!Guest review byQianAustralia - 8.0

Cessnock was a stepping stone to visit the Correction Centre; access by Public transport was good / satisfactory ... Bus 164 from/to Maitland station... would welcome 2 per hour! I soon learnt NOT to try booking a Cab (4990 1111) at night - very busy and no response; early morning was v good and quick; had a good, obliging Cab driver to and from the CC. Town seems to have plenty of Cafes.Guest review byTerenceAustralia - 10.0

We loved the whole stay, the owners Rosie and Paul are wonderful plenty of wood every morning and breakfast for four days, there was plenty of entertainment to keep you busy and very friendly Hudson, recommend to anyone rustic and very comfy. The only thing missing was a dust pan.Guest review byJaniceAustralia - 10.0
Muswellbrook tend to be my home town soon.
Muswellbrook tend to be my home town soon. A lot of activities for the kids around the town: parks, playgrounds even there is a ten pin bowling and cinema. It is a bit unexpected to be so community focused for a small rural town. Good restaurants are available: Indian, Thai, Chinese cousins and of course traditional Aussie pubs. The prices are average, so you will be pleased of not spending too much. 2 shopping malls are also available with all 3 main Australia grocery stores, so not an issue to top up your stock before travelling further inland.Guest review bySergei IagunkovAustralia - 10.0
Fantastic array of heritage homes within the town.
Fantastic array of heritage homes within the town. We had a lovely lunch at the Assar Cafe which we highly recommend. Dinner at the Golf Club & RSL, excellent. Visited relatives, so not much sightseeing. Called in at Lake Liddell, well worth a look or picnic/ BBQ lunch.Guest review byAnonymousAustralia - 8.0

Our trip was for 2 nights to visit family cousins and to see the old homes of my grandparents and great grandparents and after our visits we were disappointed as there was very little to do while we were in Singleton Town Centre.Guest review byMargaretAustralia - 10.0

We loved Sir Francis Drake accommodation the best and all its facilities. We also loved going to woollies as it was just 4minutes away. We enjoyed the hotel food and a few take aways from KFC AND MACDONALDS which was just across the road. we found it easy to get around as we have our car, however getting a taxi is just a call away, but Didi was a bit difficult to get.Guest review bysalota - 4.0
The property does not deserve a 8.1 rating.
The property does not deserve a 8.1 rating. Could not use the shower or the air conditioner due to there below poor condition, including foul smell. Beds were terrible. Motel was cramped with terrible parking. It was a very unpleasant stay, we couldn’t wait to leave.Guest review byJodieAustralia - 10.0

Morpeth is a very charming, small village with genuine, old-world charm, and a wonderful variety of small businesses that cater to visitors. The residents have posted signs that clearly show their objection to the nearby subdivisions that have, in recent years, popped up on nearby, former agricultural land. Hopefully. the council will not permit any more urban encroachment.Guest review byEvelynSydneyAustralia
