The decorations and collectables make it worth staying there alone. Lovely full breakfast was the icing on the cake. Well done to the owners they’ve done an excellent job of creating an unique property. Highly recommended.

It was raining the whole time we were there, so the magazines, games and TV were great. IGA, beach, park and coffee shop all in walkable distance 😍!

It's closed in/self-contained, so kids just ride around on their bikes through all the flat roads. There's a great park, the beach on one side, the lake on the other. We stayed in the lake view cabins which have their own bathrooms and kitchenettes (also air conditioning), but there's plenty of room for camping, beautifully kept toilet and shower blocks (20c for 3 min of hot water), BBQ areas, little mini mart. The local Council needs to seriously wake up! The town is dying! I had not visited for quite a few years and expected that it would have, at the very least, somewhat improved, on any level, with the passage of time however it appears, yet again, bad local governance is making what could be a fantastic location into a forgotten and stagnant coastal backwater! Although it was June the weather was great, I'm from Canberra, enough said. The town was quiet, compared to my last visit in January. As was only there for a family funeral it was only an overnight stay didn’t really get the feel of what a longer stay would have been like but I would stay there again. It is a beautiful small beachside place but not sure of what amenities are available for eg. a weeks stay. The eatery's I had visited were The Pickled Octopus, and community club, was good as the great selection and pricing, staff friendly and was the service in both places. Tuross Heads is easy to get around and great pathways to walk and cycle. The towns people are only to pleased to help you in anyway. A lovely (not so small) town catering for varying holiday and a broad range of travellers needs. The new bridge across the Clyde River must be a boon to locals and tourist alike.
