Really enjoyed our hour long cruise on the “Canberra” Paddle Steamer. The American Hotel was a lovely experience with live music and great food. Lots of fantastic places to eat, any time of the day. I come up for the Echuca blues Festival but prefer to stay in Moama its a nice quiet Town and only a few Klm to Echuca, has changed a lot since the 70s. About $20.00 for a cab into Echuca. Should have a bus running constant for the Blues fes as parking can be a nightmare. The Blues bus runs on the Saturday only which I think is free. Wide variety of restaurants cafes, motels and bakeries in Echuca and Moama make for a very pleasant stay. The historic Port of Echuca with access to the paddle steamer river boats is a great attraction. Echuca is a beautiful place to visit. The food outlets provide excellent food service and the variety of shops are worth visiting.
