We had a lovely stay ay Almanac. A beautiful period building but with modern interior. Sizeable and comfortable bedroom with the most amazing bed. Particularly good drinks station in the room. Nice staff, fantastic breakfast, lovely location -opposite the Stadtpark. Perfect!

Where should I begin? I have previously stayed at this hotel and I was impressed by their services, their kindness and how client-oriented they are, but this time they surprised me in a big way. When we arrived, my mother had the hangers with the coats and I took the luggage out of the car, and when we entered the hotel, a very kind woman from the reception jumped out and took the hangers from my mother and another coleague of hers took my bags. They remembered our names and as we checked in, they were all smiles.. then they told us they have a surprise for us and we are receiving an upgrade from our Deluxe Double Room (I recommend to take it with a view). We were very impressed until we arrived in the room which was the Maisonette Suite ! OMG ! WOW ! The suite was so beautiful but the view was mind blowing.. I even told my mother that she put the world at my feet and I put Vienna at her feet :D They really surprised us in such a special way since I was having a difficult period in my life. Everything was wow, mindblower, extraordinary. I also recommend the breakfast at the Brasserie&Bakery, they are so client oriented and kind, and smiling and the food is wow.. I recommend Egg Benedict and fried bacon :) So if you want the best that Vienna has to offer, and a home away from home, this is the right hotel ! Oo, and I forgot to mention that all over the hotel and in the rooms, there are always fresh flowers..

It is very hard to find centric hotels with such fair price in Vienna. * Amazing breakfast, with a wide range of variety (both hot and cold food) and very friendly staff. * Spacious, clean and silent room, facing a very quite backyard. Very comfy mattresses. Excellent and handy shower, providing water at a suitable pressure. * As it is not located right within the city center, you'll be able to find restaurants with inexpensive prices.

    The hotel is located very close to the city center. Rooms are comfortable and stylish (intriguing paintings on the walls). Breakfast was delicious, even for me - celiac and no meat eater - I could find several options, so thank you. Breakfast is scheduled till 2 pm (at least on Sunday!) which is very convenient. Complimentary mini bar (but as I'm celiac couldn't enjoy a beer, cola doesn't count as a beverage for humans :) but if you drink it, you have it, bottles of water were helpful!). We also found the staff very helpful and nice. Highly recommended.

    Wonderful city full of life and history. Visiting the churches, the palaces, the museums-there is so much to see and learn. We attended a concert At Mozart House. The Vienna Film Festival was going on so we went each night. The public transportation is easy to use. Definitely go.

    My niece studies in Vienna and I often visit this city. I love Vienna and Austria. This is an exceptional country in Europe which despite a lot of other nationalities and tourists never loses its uniqueness, it has not lost its image, history, traditions.
