Hotel Sondor is a new building located in a great location in the center of the town. Everything is extremely clean and tidy. The rooms are very comfortable, equipped with the most necessary things for a pleasant stay. We really liked the silence that allows for a pleasant rest and good sleep. Breakfast offers a good selection, the only thing that could be changed from time to time. Finally, it is necessary to highlight the exceptional hospitality of the staff, starting with Xhani and the rest of the staff who are always available for any assistance and service.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel by the sea! The location was perfect – just a short walk to the beach, which made it incredibly convenient for swimming and relaxing by the water. The room was clean and comfortable, and we especially appreciated the beautifully designed bathroom – it felt modern and luxurious. Another thoughtful touch was the provided drying rack, which was super handy after a day at the beach. All in all, a great place to stay, and we would definitely come back!

    It was apparent that the hotel was undergoing their last reconstruction, and I found them to be of exceptional quality. Because we were on a high floor, the noise wasn't an issue. A spectacular view could be enjoyed from the balcony of this clean, spacious room.

    Sarandë itself was great for a holiday and there are many great day trips you can do also. We enjoyed seeing Gjirokaster and the Blue Eye spring as well as the view from Sarandë castle. The fresh produce is wonderful- great food! Great value and friendly, happy people.

    Plazhi Bovës and the surrounding forest is awesome. Sad it's full of trash. The peninsula with the monastery and the abandoned bunkers were amazing. The main streets with the shops, restaurants, bars are full of life. The palms along the road gives very good vibes.

    The beaches are extremely beautiful and clean. Renting sunbeds/umbrellas can be quite pricy. If you go in the afternoon they would charge you the same price on some beaches. Driving in Ksamil can be quite hectic. The streets are quite narrow and not all the streets have pavements and on streets where they are present either they are taken up by shops or else the people do not use the land walk in the middle of the road. Be careful if you are driving there especially during rush hour and parking is not easy. The restaurants are really good. We tried a lot of them and the food is delicious and most of them have very reasonable prices. We were always treated nicely from the staff.

    Very cozy little town, amazing mountains. Has everything you need. Several grocery stores. Nice people, program options, hiking, crystal clear water everywhere, free beach, sunbeds if you want. Pleasant evening music. Good restaurants. The Great Chimara tour was amazing!!!

    Drymades beach town is only worth visiting for the beach - which is amazing. Smallpeeble beach with clear clean water. Noting to see og do in the besch area. Only restaurants, minimarkets and beachbars. No shops or small streets. The restaurants are in general overpriced compared to other areas in Albania and the food and service does not follow the high prices. Go here for the beach for max 3 days

    The owner was very responsive. The apartment had everything from kitchenware to WiFi ,free parking and quiet area. It is very close to Vlora city and Rradhima. The closest beach is 2-minutes driving, or 7-10 minutes waking.

    The owners seemed to make the effort to provide with help and assistance, despite the lack of quality in the aspects below. For the price you pay in high season which was 45 EUR per night, of course you don't expect luxury, but some basics should be in place: - 1st of all, the photos used in Booking.com were all from the 2nd building they manage, and don't correspond with the room booked at least on 50%. - the power plugs were a hazard to be aware(when you're travelling with a toddler). - the electric stove provided was almost at half meter height, a constant danger for toddlers. - the air con could be put on only by plugging in the plug and it was configured to the coldest temperature, very annoying to deal with it during the night. - hygiene could've improved: closet was dirty on the top, full of dust, the bathroom super-small. - when I asked for a sponge and dishwashing lotion, the owner told me that I was the 1st ever to ask for that. What? You put a kitchen.

    Qeparo is a charming little village with a lovely "shetitore" (promenade) perfect for evening walks along the beach. The village stretches along the coast, offering breathtaking views and crystal-clear waters, though you'll need to walk a few steps to reach the shore. We had no trouble finding a sunbed without reservations, and the food was delicious and fairly priced—highly recommend restaurants Poseidon and Te Stefi! The only downside was the lack of trash bins along the promenade, which left the walking path a bit messy. This is definitely an area that could be improved. Overall, a peaceful, beautiful spot with great food and friendly vibes.

    Lukovë is a small, cozy village 20km from Sarandë. It is surrounded by hills with olive trees and other typical Mediterranean Plata that give off a specific and pleasant aroma. It is the perfect place for alternative tourism away from the overcrowded Ksamil and Sarandë. You can find here restaurants that serve local food, friendly and welcoming service and nice public beaches.

    If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Hotel Amare in Palasë exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was evident — everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The cleanliness was impeccable, and every corner of the hotel felt fresh and welcoming. The food? Absolutely delicious! Every meal was a highlight, showcasing fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. But what truly set this place apart was the hospitality. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our experience memorable. It’s rare to find a place that combines such high standards of service, comfort, and charm. Hotel Amare has become one of my absolute favorite places in Palasë. A hidden gem I can’t wait to return to. Highly, highly recommended!
