Picasso hotel, thank you for the wonderful time. The service was excellent. The host are very kind and friendly. The breakfast was very delicious with home made jam. The hosts are always available to assist you and recommend nice places to eat. Very clean. The hotel has its own beach, no reservation or additional payment is require.     I am truly humbled by the hospitality of the Miamar team. As a solo traveler, I was so warmly welcomed. My trip was short but in the few days that I was there, the team made me feel like I was at home (a special shoutout to Emily & Elvis who are remarkable). Located literally a stone’s throw from the beach, Miamar is the very definition of luxury! Everyday you can chill by the pool or the beach and enjoy the most amazing drinks at the super chic beach or pool bars. They can also whip up the prettiest & tastiest mocktails (non-alcoholic cocktails) which was perfect for me. The food at the hotel restaurant is outstanding! I was usually out & about for lunch so I only had breakfast and dinner at the restaurant but I was never disappointed. The quality is amazing and the portions are generous. If you’re considering adding in a massage while you’re there - do it! You will not regret it! There is so much more I could say but I’ll leave it at that. If you have any specific questions, let me know. Overall, I highly highly highly recommend Miamar!

    The best place for holidays for sure! As soon as we arrived we fell in love with this hotel and location. It looks exactly the same like on the pictures. We asked to be on a higher floor and receptionist kindly changed it for us. The room was clean and housekeeping made our room every day. The hotel has private beach, which is clean and Faik take care of it. There is restaurant in the hotel and cuisine is so tasty. The most perfect part of our trip was our acquaintance with bartender Jetlir and his an amazing cocktails that he prepares. It is very tasty!!! We had taxi at 4pm and asked for late check out and they provided it for us for free. The girls from reception gave present from Albania from us and it made us smile as well. Everyone saw us off very warmly. It was perfect time for us and we will come back for sure! Thank you so much, Regina Blu team!

The sea is a few minutes' walk away, and there are both private and public beaches nearby. The breakfast was very tasty and varied, everyone can find something for themselves.     The beaches are quite crowded as this is a popular...

    The beaches are quite crowded as this is a popular destination due to the easy ferry access from Corfu and Italy. Coming from Australia we are not used to sitting on pebbled beaches for long periods. We stayed seven days and, in that time, visited Gjirokaster and the Blue eye (day tour with Rei Tours), Butrint and Ksamil. We probably could have done all that in 5 days as well as relaxing in Sarande.

    Fantastic beach, the sea is safe and is perfect for swimming. Modern Beachfront bars & Cafe culture. Every Restaurant we visited was perfect food - so I recommend to try all. Shopping is a 2 stop bus ride into town easily accessible. And local shops/ bakery/ fresh fruits are just a street away from the relaxing sea front areas. Brilliant Town planning. The sea front is Fantastic anytime of day or night. For walking, relaxing, cycling, brilliant sunsets .... Places of interest the monastry and historic sites close by are worth visiting. I felt very safe everywhere I visited. The locals are lovely, welcoming friendly and helpful. Everyone presents a good atmosphere people are happy and welcoming.

    The beaches are extremely beautiful and clean. Renting sunbeds/umbrellas can be quite pricy. If you go in the afternoon they would charge you the same price on some beaches. Driving in Ksamil can be quite hectic. The streets are quite narrow and not all the streets have pavements and on streets where they are present either they are taken up by shops or else the people do not use the land walk in the middle of the road. Be careful if you are driving there especially during rush hour and parking is not easy. The restaurants are really good. We tried a lot of them and the food is delicious and most of them have very reasonable prices. We were always treated nicely from the staff.

    Very cozy little town, amazing mountains. Has everything you need. Several grocery stores. Nice people, program options, hiking, crystal clear water everywhere, free beach, sunbeds if you want. Pleasant evening music. Good restaurants. The Great Chimara tour was amazing!!!

    Drymades beach town is only worth visiting for the beach - which is amazing. Smallpeeble beach with clear clean water. Noting to see og do in the besch area. Only restaurants, minimarkets and beachbars. No shops or small streets. The restaurants are in general overpriced compared to other areas in Albania and the food and service does not follow the high prices. Go here for the beach for max 3 days

    The owner was very responsive. The apartment had everything from kitchenware to WiFi ,free parking and quiet area. It is very close to Vlora city and Rradhima. The closest beach is 2-minutes driving, or 7-10 minutes waking.

    The owners seemed to make the effort to provide with help and assistance, despite the lack of quality in the aspects below. For the price you pay in high season which was 45 EUR per night, of course you don't expect luxury, but some basics should be in place: - 1st of all, the photos used in Booking.com were all from the 2nd building they manage, and don't correspond with the room booked at least on 50%. - the power plugs were a hazard to be aware(when you're travelling with a toddler). - the electric stove provided was almost at half meter height, a constant danger for toddlers. - the air con could be put on only by plugging in the plug and it was configured to the coldest temperature, very annoying to deal with it during the night. - hygiene could've improved: closet was dirty on the top, full of dust, the bathroom super-small. - when I asked for a sponge and dishwashing lotion, the owner told me that I was the 1st ever to ask for that. What? You put a kitchen.

    Qeparo is a charming little village with a lovely "shetitore" (promenade) perfect for evening walks along the beach. The village stretches along the coast, offering breathtaking views and crystal-clear waters, though you'll need to walk a few steps to reach the shore. We had no trouble finding a sunbed without reservations, and the food was delicious and fairly priced—highly recommend restaurants Poseidon and Te Stefi! The only downside was the lack of trash bins along the promenade, which left the walking path a bit messy. This is definitely an area that could be improved. Overall, a peaceful, beautiful spot with great food and friendly vibes.

    Lukovë is a small, cozy village 20km from Sarandë. It is surrounded by hills with olive trees and other typical Mediterranean Plata that give off a specific and pleasant aroma. It is the perfect place for alternative tourism away from the overcrowded Ksamil and Sarandë. You can find here restaurants that serve local food, friendly and welcoming service and nice public beaches.

    If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! Hotel Amare in Palasë exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was evident — everything was spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The cleanliness was impeccable, and every corner of the hotel felt fresh and welcoming. The food? Absolutely delicious! Every meal was a highlight, showcasing fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. But what truly set this place apart was the hospitality. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our experience memorable. It’s rare to find a place that combines such high standards of service, comfort, and charm. Hotel Amare has become one of my absolute favorite places in Palasë. A hidden gem I can’t wait to return to. Highly, highly recommended!
