The accommodation was exceptionally good. The rooms were clean, and the air conditioning was quiet enough to keep on during the night, allowing for a restful sleep. The beds were very comfortable. The host was friendly and gave us helpful tips on what to see and where to go. In the morning, we were treated to a wonderful breakfast with homemade donuts, mulberry jam, eggs, coffee, and more. It was a truly great experience. The city center is within walking distance so we enjoyed strolling there and back. We also noticed the place is very family- and child-friendly. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

We stayed at this hotel only for one night and would be happy to come again. Room was big enough and everything looked brand new. Even though we hadn’t balcony, from the window we could admire marvellous view of the bridge and part of old town. Guys at the reception desk were very helpful and kind. Breakfast was good enough, but variety of food could be wider.

Our staying at Villa Papa-Berat was very nice. The staff were helpful and very friendly. View of the mountain. Room was super clean, the traditional tasty breakfast, great location to avoid traffic and accessible for going at the centre. We will come back to the villa Papa again!

    On a central point of the town. They provide excellent parking two minutes walking time away and they give explicit information by message to reach it. The he rooms are not all the same but they are all beautiful.some have a balcony some others better view but all are spacious. The breakfast was more than what we expected. We were really satisfied. The breakfast area is s good n the third floor and has a wonderful view. Although we he hotel in s on the Main Street and there are many cafes and restaurants nearby the rooms are quiet. The receptionists are very professional. I highly recommend the place.

    Amazing and super clean property in a top location (inside the castle). The hotel is an historical house owned by a local family that give their absolute best to make your stay as good as possible. We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel and highly recommend, it was prepared with fresh local products. The owner speaks very well English.

    Berat is a must see.

    Berat is a must see. The people are super friendly and helpful. If you take the bus, find the bus stop to take it to the city centre. I walked 45 minutes from the bus station to the city centre. I wish someone told me I could take a bus ahead of time. When you leave, take the bus from the city centre. The staff on the bus were friendly signalling to me when to get off.

    The castle is large and interesting and no charge .

    The castle is large and interesting and no charge . Parking under ground in the town was 100 Lek/ Euro per hour and keeps the car cool . The friendly house restaurant has great views and good food . Two historic areas to wander through - very enjoyable.

    Berat is such a beautiful city.

    Berat is such a beautiful city. If you love ancient cities with lots of character and charm you will love Berat. The cobbled alleyways with shops/restaurants and hotels hidden away in every bend was so lovely to walk through. Felt like we transported back in time. We stayed in hotel Ansel which was very well located and the hotel had free parking. The hotel also had stunning views of Berat. It was easy to walk to all the sites in Berat. We also drove to osumi canyon and did the river rafting which I would highly recommended.
