We loved that place - wonderful place and wonderful people. We enjoyed our stay very much. Our hosts were always kind and helpful, the best ones :), they made us feel at home. We had a beautiful sea view and lots of beautiful beaches nearby (some of them just across the street). The list of interesting places and activities, that our host Luciano had prepared, helped us a lot. We would come back for sure. Faleminderit for everything! ;)

First class service with lovely friendly staff. Food was A1 - food comes directly from their farm and is delicious, the best meals we have had in ksamil by far. Beds/pillows were very comfortable. Secure lodging. We would highly recommend.

I stayed at Hotel Porta Ksamil for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel is perfectly located , making it convenient for sightseeing and dining. I booked a deluxe room with a king-sized bed and an extra single bed. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the room included a large TV, minibar, and a great view from the balcony . On the top floor there is also a swimming pool where you can have a nice swim while enjoying a beautiful sunset. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Check-in was smooth, and they were very helpful with any request from our side. Housekeeping did an excellent job each day. We had breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant each morning. The buffet had a wide variety of options, from fresh fruit and pastries to hot dishes. The quality of the food was excellent. The hotel is situated within walking distance of several major attractions and beautiful beaches. There are also many restaurants and shops nearby. The area felt safe and lively. I highly recommend the Hotel Porta Ksamil for its excellent service, prime location, and comfortable accommodations. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Ksamil, Saranda.

    The hotel gave a great first impression; neat, clean and with a friendly staff. They were service oriented and very attentive to our needs. They made sure we had a pleasent stay. The included breakfast was great. The restaurant offered delicious meals to an affordable price. I would absolutely recommend enjoying a meal at the hotel restaurant! Everything we needed was within walking distance; multiple beaches, markets, shops, bars and restaurants. We had an extraordinary view of the sunset from our room. We were very happy with our stay.

    It is a comfortable hotel, everything is very new so it is very comfortable. Most importantly, it's the cleanest hotel I've ever seen. The breakfast is nice and varied, the restaurant service at dinner is fast and delicious. Thanks to Semi for the food service, he is very caring and smiling. Also a big thank you to the receptionist Tana, she is the best receptionist we have ever seen. You should thank her for having such an employee with her command and knowledge of his job.

    The hotel is in an excellent location, practically right by the sea. It has a beautiful veranda covered with flowers and offering a stunning view. Being able to swim at the beach and then walk straight back to your place is a wonderful experience. The hosts are also reasonable and pleasant people.

    The beaches are extremely beautiful and clean.

    The beaches are extremely beautiful and clean. Renting sunbeds/umbrellas can be quite pricy. If you go in the afternoon they would charge you the same price on some beaches. Driving in Ksamil can be quite hectic. The streets are quite narrow and not all the streets have pavements and on streets where they are present either they are taken up by shops or else the people do not use the land walk in the middle of the road. Be careful if you are driving there especially during rush hour and parking is not easy. The restaurants are really good. We tried a lot of them and the food is delicious and most of them have very reasonable prices. We were always treated nicely from the staff.

    The people are amazing.

    The people are amazing. They are all friendly and acomodating, and almost everyone speaks great english. The food is delicious! We went to several restaurants and all the food is great. Butrint national park is a must see. Although I highly recommend going there early (before 10 AM) to get a parking spot. Otherwise you will park 1 km-2km away and walk in the sun. The infrastructure is horrible. There are too many hotels and the roads are narrow and there are no or very little sidewalks. It is dangerous to walk around with small children because in august it was filled with cars that were driving too fast on those roads. Driving inside Ksamil and between Ksamil and Saranda is a nightmare.

    Beautiful beaches and nature but overcrowded. We would not come back in July or August again. September could work. Roads are crazy and cannot cope with amount of tourists. Again, could be perfect in September.
