Everything was exceptional - especially the people who work there. The hotel is beautiful and immaculate. The staff extremely helpful, kind and interested in ensuring the stay was enjoyable. I wish I remembered / knew everyone's names but Charles - pool security, William - in the lobby/reception and Swarna concierge really helped make our trip memorable and comfortable! The pools are great, food good, Paradiso fun, beds very comfortable, the rooms immaculate, the entertainment great. I am not someone who likes to repeat visiting a place but we are already talking about coming back next year.

I love this property and this is my second visit ! Can honestly call this home away from home I’ve enjoyed this property both as a solo traveller as well as travelling with family . I’m particularly pleased because of the excellent service I was given and extra attention given to me by duty Manager Mr Islem and Miss Liezel who were kind enough to offer me a complimentary early check inn at 6am. This gesture really confirmed why this establishment is a 10/10. I also love that it’s well priced and offers great value for money without compromising on luxury as this is a five star property. Very tasteful very mindful and Very Very Demure !! Always exceeds my expectations and within close proximity to the Dubai mall.

"My stay at The Lana Hotel in Dubai was amazing in every way! Everything was 10 out of 10. The staff was exceptional, always friendly and helpful. Their smiles were always present, and they were always ready to assist us with anything we needed. When I informed them before arriving that I was celebrating my 15th wedding anniversary, they upgraded our room as a lovely surprise! They also provided us with a cake and balloons in our room. The pool area was fantastic, offering a panoramic view of the Burj Khalifa and all of Dubai. As for the food, the staff by the pool was great and the food was delicious. The only downside was the limited dinner options in the half-board package we had booked. However, when we informed them that we wouldn't be dining there, they offered us an alternative and arranged for us to dine at a nearby Michelin-starred restaurant called 'JAR.' I highly recommend staying here!"

    We recently had the pleasure of staying at Bab Al Shams, and must say, it was an experience that surpassed all expectations. The service at Bab Al Shams was nothing short of exceptional. The staff members were not only professional and attentive but also genuinely warm and welcoming. Dana who checked us in was really lovely. From the moment we checked in until the day of our departure, we were treated with the utmost care and personalized attention. We really appreciated the dedication shown by Surinderjit at breakfast and Yashash on the night of the birthday celebration. Every request was met with a smile, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction throughout our stay. The Dune bashing experience (desert tour) lead by Ismail was the highlight of our trip. It not only allowed us to immerse ourselves in the thrill of the Arabian desert but learn about flora and fauna which Ismail has a great knowledge of. He also took a lot of really cool photos and videos for us. The housekeeping service deserves a special mention as they went above and beyond to make our stay truly memorable. Our room was impeccably maintained, with a meticulous attention to detail. They even arranged a delightful birthday surprise for us. When we returned to our room on the special day, we were greeted by a beautifully decorated room and a scrumptious birthday cake. It was a truly memorable experience that added an extra touch of warmth and personalization to our stay. Thank you to all of you at Bab Al Shams. You were all amazing! ❤️

    The staff is very nice and goes above and beyond. The pool area is also very very nice with a view to the sea side. Rooms are clean and well done. It might be older style, but it’s not weared and teared. The room I was upgraded to even had a kitchenette which would be helpful if you travel as family.

There’s nothing but sand angry people worked out labour unfriendly, rude staff on the airport to greet you.     This is one of the best places I stayed in Dubai.

    This is one of the best places I stayed in Dubai. The apartment is beautiful, with a comfortable bed, a nice high desk to work from, plenty of room in the cupboards, a great kitchen and bathroom. Host was extremely helpful and communicative, an excellent host. The parking is easy and covered. The pool is beautiful, with very comfortable sun lounges, perfect to relax after a long day at work. I will definitely book this place again.

    Great camp with the BEST staff.

    Great camp with the BEST staff. They tend to your needs around the clock. My only drawback is the restroom situation. The toilet and shower is in one very small stall. Had to hang change of clothes in different stall to keep the shower from wetting them. Another drawback is COLD showers. No hot water at all even after letting it run for some time. My husband caught a slight cold because the desert gets cool in the evening, and the walk back to the tent from the cold shower did him in. Also on my booking confirmation , it said there would be a bidet in the tent. There was not one, but I think that is best. Not mad about that at all. On a good note, we really enjoyed the dishes we were served with such great variety. The entertainment was nice. We booked for two nights, but one night is more than enough. I would definitely recommend this camp to anyone wanting a different Dubai experience.

    The Tours that were available were of a good choice of locations and different types of evening food selections good. All the staff were friendly local cafes to visit in the evenings. Using the MTR is the best way to get around, Taxi's are good value.

    Great experience for our first time, possibly a little too...

    Great experience for our first time, possibly a little too hot when used to British weather! Didn't experience a lot of places due to small baby but all malls were baby friendly and everyone is so welcoming - amazing hospitality! Beautiful country, lots of construction but great if you're able to explore.
