Situated in São Tomé in the Sao Tome Island region and Ize Beach reachable within 500 metres, GENTE D'AQUI Ngê D'ai êê features accommodation with free WiFi, BBQ facilities, a garden and free private parking. Due to an unforeseen change of plans, we booked our stay just a few hours before arriving. Joao contacted me right away via WhatsApp to let us know he wouldn’t be there initially, but he made sure someone was expecting us and ready to greet us. This excellent communication continued throughout our stay. Joao’s hospitality was the standout—he was always available for anything we needed and genuinely cared that we had a great experience. He went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruit, bread and eggs, (and even soya yoghurt—which he had gone out especially to get for me as a vegetarian) Our room had a beautiful view of the sea, and we could hear the waves crashing as we fell asleep—I slept really well here. The location is in a village, and although we don’t speak Portuguese, the locals were very friendly. We even enjoyed a drink at the local bar and felt very safe the entire time.

Everything is clean and comfortable and the views from the bungalow are just amazing. Also the food was delicious!!

The bungalow was spacious, clean, modern, stylish, comfortable set in a beautiful garden with a view to the sea, far from the other bungalows. The staff was very kind and helpful. The breakfast was very generous and good, made from local fruits and eggs.

But the BEST was the treatment from the owner Joana and his college Eloy that were super helpfull all the time. They help in all we ask and during the stay they were asking about our stay every couple of days. The food was always amazing and so fresh. The lodge was extremely peaceful and in close proximity to some of the nicest beaches of the south. The staff were phenomenal and made my stay that much more special. I ended up extending for an extra three days because I didn’t want to leave! Will be back.
