Gli asciugamani, le lenzuola e i cuscini erano puliti. Colazione tipica, molto buona e abbondante. Consiglio.

This was one the best hotels i stayed in my time in Sri Lanka. The staff was great and the owner even more so. I did a tour with him through the knuckle forest reserve and it was absolutely beautiful. He also knew a great deal about the places we went to and the local community. The hotel was clean, had a good vibe and the vieuw from my room was amazing. 2 other rooms where being built and he had plans to put in a pool. If this place gets known, its going to be packed with tourist. I would highly recommend this place and if i ever go to Sri Lanka again, this hotel is going to be at the top of my list.

The location is absolutely stunning, with a balcony that looks out over the most breathtaking view. The chalet was charming, comfortable, and well-equipped, including a pleasant bathroom and shower. The full board meals were exceptional. I can’t stop thinking about their Sri Lankan breakfast, and the ice cream was unforgettable. The staff were welcoming and attentive. We really enjoyed how we have been integrated, we felt just like another member of the family. We were looking for an authentic experience to spend aluth aruvudu (Buddhist new Year) and we could not have dreamed of something better than the few days we lived at the SNF. After 1month and a half we have never experienced this kind of welcome elsewhere. The whole family is very open minded, intelligent, sensitive, curious but what probably touched us the most is their willingness to share everything: Food (of course) but also what life learned them in general whether it is practical skills like cooking, cutting a coconut, observing nature or more "soft skills" like their view on life and their wisdom. We hope to come back as we know this was a unique and special experience.

Book this place when you wish to see many things in and around Kandy! The owners went the extra mile to make me super happy. He is a safe driver who showed me many places per day in his comfortable car and she cooked fantastic meals for me with fresh herbs and spices out of their own ‘jungle’. They are a lovely and honest family, the best hosts during my world-travel :-) Also: the place is a gem in the mountains, beautiful decorated and with a clean pool. I felt really at home here.
