The location is up the mountain 5 mins from Cernobbio town by car, 15/20 mins if you walk, that’s the downside, the upside is the fantastic views of Lake Como..it is stunning!! If you book ask for room 308, it has double aspect with views to die for.

We intentionally didn't book with breakfast, but found a nice bar next to Villa Bernasconi. Highly recommended. The arrival procedure was super simple thanks to a key safe with a digital pin, and when we met our host, we really enjoyed her kindness, happiness, and enjoyment in her job. The room is spacious and comfortable and gave us all the comfort we needed for a short break.

The room was very clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped (hair dryer, lots of towels, hygiene products). The breakfast was superb and varied (croissants, boiled egg, cheese and ham, toast, French bread... and the place where we had breakfast was really pleasant and very enjoyable. Also, the staff was very friendly and made me feel very welcome and at home. Really loved the breakfast experience!
