It was a quiet, out of the way but beautiful place. Cabins were cute and clean and modern with fabulous shower facilities. the pool being open was a bonus!

Struttura nuova, pulitissima, personale super accogliente e sorridente, sia alla reception che alla colazione. Colazione molto ricca di salato dolce e tanta frutta fresca! Bellissima terrazza con molte sedute, lavanderia gratuita molto utile. (specifico perché in altri hotel ho trovato quella con le monete e pagando praticamente tutto con la carta è stato impossibile farla).

This was our first stay at the AmericInn in Belle Fourche as it often is booked when we come through for work trips. I will attempt to stay here each time I am in the area on future trips. The breakfast is amazing! They have this lovely woman who makes you an omelet or waffles and they have so many choices of breakfast foods it’s really unheard of for a hotel. The interesting part is that at least when I booked it, I didn’t have to choose a rate that included breakfast as every room seemed to have that option (not sure if that is always the case but it was for our dates of travel). The pool/spa here is nice, clean and the rooms were equally so. The staff (two of which we interacted with are the actual owners) are so friendly and responsive. I met a gentleman who travels for work in the parking lot and he volunteered without me asking his opinion that this is “the” place to stay in the area.

Located in Hill City, Black Elk Resort features a a Taproom, shared lounge, garden, and free WiFi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground. We had a great time. We had no idea there was so much to see right there. So close to Mt. Rushmore. The room was perfect for the 4 of us and the staff was incredible. So friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back.
