Walter is a very concerned person and since we informed him about our arrival time, he was attentive, unfortunately the bus company we chose to travel from Kampala to Kabale was not the best and we were left stranded in the middle of the road and he took care to offer us a solution, even when it was late and it was not his responsibility, details like this are what make the difference between a place that only seeks to make money and one that really cares about their guests. Regarding the studio, it was well located, had everything we needed, as well as good insulation against external noise and good curtains that kept the room dark, guaranteeing a good rest. We will definitely come back!

Such a lovely guest house very clean the bed was very comfortable and the views from outside your room are outstanding. Cylia the owner is an incredible lady so kind and very helpful and was always on hand to assist you. She was able to get me a gorilla permit and a chimpanzee permit which I was most grateful for.

Itambira Seeds of Hope has been one of the most special places we stayed at during our 2 month East Africa trip. Lake Bunyonyi and the islands are gorgeous to begin with. Seeds of Hope had very decent and good quality amenities: comfy beds, proper mosquitoe net (in Africa you will find out that not every mosquitoe net provided is functional, some of them won't cover the whole bed...etc. that wasn't the case), hot water. Yes, there were specific hours when they provided hot water and internet but that was understandable given the fact that you are really in a remote place. Overall the staff was a bit too serious (I was wondering if they were happy to live/work there) but cordial. The island is lovely to explore. Make sure you go up and visit the tiny school. The teacher lady there does an amazing job and you can even get to spend time with the kids. The views are gorgeous. We did the Batwa pygmy people tour which was nice (especially the sailing part) but a bit overrated. Instead stay here 2 nights min to relax, unwind, read and recover in between tiring periods of your trip. Totally worth it.

Il resort è raggiungibile solo via lago, hanno una barca che vi viene a prendere al molo ed in pochi minuti vi portano al lodge che ha una vista mozzafiato e dal quale si può ammirare una bellissima alba. Possono organizzare diverse escursioni, compreso il tour del lago in un atmosfera di quiete e relax. Durante il tour è possibile vedere punishment island e una scuola/orfanotrofio (Little Angesl) che ha davvero bisogno di aiuto dove vengono cresciuti ospitati ed istruiti bambini in difficolta economiche o che non hanno nessuno.
