From the moment we arrived, we couldn't have felt more welcome. Louise (who lives up to and exceeds everything we had read about her online) greeted us at the door before showing us to the amazing room she had so kindly upgraded us to which was a huge surprise. The room was amazing, bed so comfortable, castle beautiful, and easily one of the best places we have ever stayed in. Everything was within 30 minutes travel for the places we wanted to visit. It was easily the best find we have found on Booked.com, and we will definitely be returning for more visits in the future.

We had a lovely stay! The room was modern, the beds were very comfortable, we had everything we needed from toiletries to a hairdryer. We also had breakfast included which was very varied and Susan went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. The B&B is located in a residential neighbourhood, so it's in a quiet area. The bus station is 1 minute away, so it's really easy to reach the place from the city center even if you don't have a car. I highly recommend this place and I would definitely stay there if I'm in Cork again.

Fabulous gem in Cobh. We rented the whole guesthouse (for 8 people in 6 rooms) for the price of a couple of rooms in a hotel. Walking distance from the town centre and lots of bars, restaurants and coffee shops. We'll be back!

    Lovely friendly staff have no bad words to say about our stay, parking directly opposite is ideal, lovely views Also if going on Google maps make sure you type in The Bosun Monkstown as maps first option was a place in the Center of Cork City ( the bosun monkstone ) !!

    Location and parking are great. The room was well equipped, and the view out over the bay was a bonus. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the food in the bar was excellent. Always get the breakfast that's really quick and tasty.
